Dissertation submitted. Doesn't really feel like my best work at uni because I was limited to 5k words x.x
But its done! and hopefully I don't have to open matlab again for at least 5 months!

eventually he was executed
Doesn't help that I've been told by one academic that I'm meant to exclude tables/figures/captions from the word count, and another that they DO count towards the word count. Wha
OooooooOOOoOooOOo spooky spooky you've been possessed by the vampiric bat spirit and its making you spread bat propaganda
Bats good. I wanna hug a bat. And be a bat. And bats bats bats.
Maaaaan 5000 words is not enough for a dissertation, I can't be this concise when nerding out
I rewrote all star by smash mouth to be about turning into a possum, instead of working on my dissertation
it was fun when I did it! bit expensive but worth it for the experience of train travel :3
Will definitely do it again next year. Maybe to travel to a fur con, who knows
I've been watching skiing videos in the background whilst doing uni work for far too long *not* to try and do a ski holiday next year >.>
Interrail, few theme parks, and a few days sliding down a mountain in Austria on some sticks? Yes, good
Can't remember where I saw it but "being as queer and weird as possible on bluesky makes me feel like I'm contributing to the demise of a venture fund project in real time" describes why it's fun to use Bluesky
A large portion of your user base are weird kinky furries. We hate you
Yeah, getting at least some cohort-wide feedback is so helpful.
I've only had one lecturer ever let us see the marked exams if requested - it was very helpful because we could see exact mistakes etc.
I wanna go skiing againnnnnn....... I hardly managed to start turning when I did the last 3hr lesson but its so much fun.
Shall have to go for another lesson after exams and before confuzzled. I wanna start being able to properly turn, but doing snowplough constantly hurts a LOT
Thanks, Dings π it's looking good! My supervisor is happy. I am just a perfectionist and I guess that's why it'll never be good enough in my eyes
So, cross fingers that a) I don't mess up the last bits of writing my dissertation, and b) I don't mess up on my last two exams.
But then I have confuzzled to look forward to, and I can be a weird animal with my weird animal friends
I love coursework. I hate exams.
I do really well on coursework because I use it as a learning exercise to find out way more things about the subject.
Unless a lecturer has written a really good, challenging exam, it just feels like a memorisation challenge.
Constantly cycling between "I am too quiet and don't talk to people enough online" and "Jesus christ I am annoying and loud in person"
moooo
oh no haha how terrible truly awful haha anyways
Top 5 Flanges of all time. Number five. Number four. Number three. Number two. Honourable mentions. Number one.
Looking across the Thorpe Park lake to Hyperia at night

Happy 'Neil banging out the tunes' day to those who celebrate!
20 years ago today, Neil banged out some sick tunes and inspired an entire generation of rodents to bang out tunes of their own.
We love you Neil. π
