Eine aus meiner Sicht offene Fragen ist, ob das alles wirklich Selektion ist. In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat sich gezeigt, dass Selektion eine deutlich geringere Rolle bei genetischen Veränderungen spielt. Es kann also sein, dass auch langfristige Trends nicht notwendigerweise Selektion sind.

Im Pleistozän hatten Menschen eine ähnliche Krankheitsökologie wie Schimpansen. Das heißt, wenig akute Infektionskrankheiten, dafür persistente Infektionen und Parasiten. In den letzten 10 000 Jahren sind dann die "Crowd Diseases" aufgetaucht. Das sieht man in den Genen.

Ein erheblicher Teil der betroffenen Gene hat mit Äußerlichkeiten zu tun, und das spricht dafür, dass in den letzten paar tausend Jahren sexuelle Selektion an Bedeutung gewonnen hat. Bei Kultur gehts ja fast nur um Sex.
Ein weiterer Faktor sind - wenig überraschend - Infektionskrankheiten.

Die Idee, dass der Mensch nicht mehr evolviert, weil Technik und Kultur, ist ohnehin offensichtlich Quatsch. Es gibt nur neuen Selektionsdruck durch Technik und Kultur. Und die Ergebnisse der Studie geben auch schon so einen gewissen Einblick, was da im Detail passiert.
