I remember that time, during the 2026 season, the #sfgiants were being shut down by Ohtani but #PatrickBailey smacked a 3-run homer late off a reliever to BEAT LA...good times. #beatla #giantsvsdodgers #shoheiohtani

A terrible week of death in #MLB.
Phil Garner, who I watched manage the Brewers, Tigers and Astros.
Davey Lopes, who I watched coach everybody and manage the Brewers.
Garret Anderson, who I watched rip a bunch of his over 2,500 hits—including one that sunk my #sfgiants in the '02 WS.
RIP to all.
For all 2 of you who might care, there are exactly eight #MLB starters who've made all 5 GS in '26 and average 6 IP. (Grateful that #LoganWebb of my #sfgiants is one of them.)
IDK if I'm sad it's that few or shocked it's that many.
(Also there's six P's with 4 GS averaging 6 IP.)
I just want to say RIP to "Ol Scrap Iron" Phil Garner. The 1992 Brewers were one of my favorite teams ever and he largely made them go.
I was today years old when I learned Dan Hartman died way back in 1994 and had HIV. For a self-proclaimed 80's music buff to not know that is staggering.
Doing some spring cleaning and look what I stumble upon for the first time in at least 4 years...masks.
You know your boy always representin'.
Now debating whether or not to keep 'em around a bit longer.
@SFGiants @warriors @49ers
Who ELSE would throw #MLB's first complete game of 2026 but the great Sandy Alcantara, who has thrown 13 of them in his career—third among active Ps behind Verlander and Sale (26 and 16 respectively).
Tonight, Sandy shut out the White Sox on 93 pitches. #marlins
Walker's performance in the 9th isn't gonna fly; luckily we were up three. Robb Nen...you healed yet? Hermanson? Wilson? Romo? Melancon? Any of you guys available? Benitez? (Ok, maybe not Benitez.) #sfgiants
The #NBA is taking bids for expansion teams in Seattle and Vegas.
The Sonics are coming back.
I am happy. They should have never left.
I'll remember #JasonHeyward for more than his play. He was a leader. Heyward consoled Peter Bourjos after his awful collision w/Stephen Piscotty. And he was the first to Albert Almora after his foul ball injured a kid in the seats.
Mad respect for Heyward. Happy retirement. #mlb
You know what would be nice?
You know what would be REALLY swell?
If these restaurants would quit DOING AWAY WITH MY FAVORITE ITEMS!!!
Seriously, #SubwaySandwiches? You discontinue ONE sandwich and it's the ONE sandwich I used to get every week??? (the Oven Roasted Chicken).
Neuropathy sucks. And it's completely unpredictable. I know there's worse conditions to have and I'm grateful to be fairly healthy overall, but...neuropathy is a true nuisance. #prediabetic
I JUST found out one of my faves, #DavidRobertson retired a month ago...

I would like to be a cat owner. But I know I'm too damn irresponsible for it. Plus, I'd be afraid of waking up to find the thing dead somewhere, which is not something I want a part of.
As a hoops fan, I hate that George Karl and Carmelo Anthony not only aren't tight, but go out of their way to snipe at each other.
Those two turned a Nuggets team that had been mostly mediocre into decade-long contenders. #NBA
And RIP to another famed Nuggets coach, Doug Moe.
I realize as a sports fan this is a MAJOR shortcoming on MY part, but to this day, I'm not sure which one is Venus and which one is Serena.
I do know they're both great and both kicked a lot of ass, at least.
(I still don't know the Kardashian gals either except Kim)
Tempers out of control in the #NBA today. Man...
Help me out, #MLB fans.
I'm looking for postseason game-tying or go-ahead homers for teams that eventually lost that game.
From 1990 on. I already have Wood, R. Davis, Snow, Soriano and (sadly) Bichette.
Eight slices of Domino's Pizza MAY have been too much...#sleepy
Look, I'm not saying ACCEPT mediocrity from the #SFGiants on the field or in the front office.
Never would.
But at the same time, while we're lamenting our relatively quite off-season...let's be glad our Giants are still HERE at least.
Unlike their former Bay Bridge rival.
In case you were wondering, YES, I AM going to let yesterday's perfect game in #mlbtheshow go to my head. What else did you expect from me?
Working on a recap video to be shared hopefully by Monday 2/2.
America should know that I threw a perfect game tonight in #MLBTheShow.
Carlos Rodon of my #sfgiants—yes, I play an older version—set down all 27 Dodgers in a 5-0 victory. He also singled and scored!!!
(Too lazy to upload screenshots/video right now but they'll come later.)
I'm looking for any suggestions. #MLB
Who, since 1990, had the fewest career games or at-bats after a postseason game-winning hit?
Offhand, I'm going to go with Francisco Cabrera, 1992 Braves NLCS.
Reasons to be my friend: I can shake hands, I am toilet-trained, and if you ask nicely I will bring you your slippers.
Pretty sure my #Instacart driver just tore me a new one in our online chat (and deservedly so). But I quit reading after the first four words.
Winning SHOULD make one feel good.
But lately, it doesn't do squat for me.
I'm winning not because of how I play, but IN SPITE OF how I play.
We're the sorriest 47-12 team in history.

This happened on my 26th birthday.
Best present EVER.

Foolish of me to think Free Fries Friday would last forever...@McDonalds
#MLBTheShow ...my brain-dead automatic fielding just cost me a game.
SF 1, MIA 1. Bottom 10th. Man on 3B, 0 out.
Grounder to 3B. Runner breaks.
Even a penguin would know to fire home.
But not my 3B. He calmly throws to 1st AS THE LOSING RUN SCORES!!!!
I hate baseball.
