How some Texas oil companies are quietly ignoring Trump’s climate rollback In a sign of the limits of Trump’s moves on climate policy, many of the largest oil companies have kept up work to reduce methane leaks and develop cleaner ways to produce oil and natural gas.

“It’s like a test of who was really serious about emissions reductions and who wasn’t,” said Andrew Logan, from Ceres. “The good news is that the companies that are trying to be leaders on emissions are staying the course, or in some cases they’re issuing new targets.”
