The state leg only works on a part-time schedule. Odd numbered years is a long session: 105 days. Even numbered years is a short session: just 60 days. There are cutoffs all along that, for bills to come out of committee, etc. If it doesn't get to a vote in that time, it's done for the whole year.

Should I learn it before I go or are there tutors available?
Every new housing project is a unicorn, willed into existence thru hacks, blood and magic in spite of every external factor dragging it down
This is no way to fix a housing shortage
"What was a policeman, if not a civilian with a uniform and a badge? But they tended to use the term these days as a way of describing people who were not policemen. It was a dangerous habit: once policemen stopped being civilians the only other thing they could be was soldiers." -Terry Pratchett
I saw someone else call it "Stealworkers".
Once again threatening me with a good time.

At a local No Kings rally near Innsmouth, Massachusetts, *every* protester showed up in an inflatable frog costume.
They must be from a different supplier than the Portland frog's costume, though. Bystanders describe the costumes as more like fish-frogs, "batrachian," with an odd, loping gait.
How I can see a new stupidest thing I’ve ever seen in my life every 48 hours is incredible.
I used to think so too but discovered that I was mixing her up with Dian Fossey, who was murdered in the 80s.
I don't know why it matters where people are from. They need services where they are, and there's sometimes nowhere to go "back" to.
Trump and the Republican budget bill cut MILLIONS in environmental cleanup, leading the Dept. of Defense to quietly postpone PFAS cleanup at military bases in WA and OR, pushing it decades into the future.
Communities will suffer in the hands of the Republican agenda.

I've noticed an upward swing in Spokane, Washington, in the last decade. I think it's having a nice little revival.
I know antifa isn't a real organization because I don't get 40 texts a week from them asking for donations.

Post a female character you love
A carpet. Pattern: wavy line alternating weave. Looks like the edges of lasagna noodles. A very boring beige and black.
I think having a third place was good for American society and social connections, a church filled that role for a long time.
Anything Addams Family for me, especially the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons!
My unpopular opinion is that I think we need age based retesting, both written and practical, over age 60. And more stringent testing if you're transferring your license from another state. Laws are different in different states. Oregon and Washington have almost polar opposite u-turn laws.
