I think that he needs to explain to us just how illegals are running our cities. That would be entertaining.

A Portuguese Water Dog named Miles chewing on my fingers.
This is Miles, a new friend that I made last night. He seemed to enjoy chewing on me.
I have since been informed that it's a yellow-bellied sapsucker.
That's what I was leaning towards...
So, this little one was drilling holes into one of our trees. I'm guessing that it's either a female downey woodpecker or a young hairy woodpecker. Any thoughts, Birder Bluesky? On another note, I had my first visit by a jumping spider. It was literally bouncing on me.

First day of the year in shorts. First day of the year being able to read outside. Christmas decorations do need to come down...
He looks like a very big boy in his toy boat. Mommy's brave little man.
Here's an illustration that I did for a recently published book of poems by Mary Stebbins Taitt. The book and poem called Into The Voices and other details are on my blog:

I'm beyond tired of these so-called 'tough' guys.

Me with Cedar, an Australian shepherd.
The cousins with Cedar making her first jump.
Ashlee and Berlin, a Brittany spaniel after her first jump.
Berlin not having anything to do with actually jumping off the dock.
Yesterday, we were up in Flint for some dock diving dogs. Made friends with a bunch of pooches and a few snakes, too. Actual snakes, not crappy people.
The thickets and trees where we found the owl.
Skyler, a collie that we came upon.
A long-eared owl hidden well amongst the branches.
A rehab bald eagle that the park is taking care of.
Yesterday, I went to Lake Erie Metro Park with a friend looking for long-eared owls. We finally found one, but came across plenty of other critters, too.
I added some color to my scratchboard pieces:

Looks like he just got off his shift at Wendy's.
Just look at those arrogant assholes...
Proof that just because they have money doesn't mean that they are smart.
Oh my... What a tool.
I wrote up a Substack post about a minotaur sculpture that I did that lived under a train viaduct in Detroit for some time.

She had some great things to say that were, well, quite wonderful. She is writing a graphic novel and doing a documentary on Yuri and must have come across my piece when she was doing her research. Like I said, day made.
Well, my day was made today by a woman from the Ukraine who reached out to me about a drawing that I did back in 2021 of The engineer Yuri Kondratyuk, whose writings worked out how we were able to get to the moon and back.
The 12 year old child is having a fit again.
Definitely more fun sounding!
