Lovely seeing so many of you at Atmosphere Conf recently, and realizing how many folks who attended / presented are writing on Leaflet…lost count at a couple dozen, at least 😍
Lots brewing, both new things we're working on + ideas and conversations to continue, excited for the rest of the year!

Anyone have favorite uses of Leaflet's *canvas* pages?
🙌
we can build a better internet together !!
imagine starting a blog on one platform and being instantly discovered across many 🙇♀️
that’s the web that we’re building 😌
you can already feel the benefits by writing on @pckt.blog or @offprint.app or @leaflet.pub
no more walled gardens 🙅♀️
Yes…working on it! Here if anyone has more q's about leaflet or standard site!
Substack's locking folks in, and it's getting worse.
We're making better tools for writers, in an open ecosystem. Hard at work on email & memberships, coming soon!
And we're building a shared standard, @standard.site, with our friends @pckt.blog & @offprint.app
Best time to move is right now ✨
Thanks for the shout out! Glad to answer any q's folks may have about Leaflet :)
Ahh gotcha thanks, we'll take a look! And agree larger bleed option would be cool, might be a larger change but will give it a think!
Fixed all three! Thanks for the report, let’s know if you run into any other issues!!
Thanks!!
Started a new @leaflet.pub publication and it's *already* integrated into my site, thanks to the magic of @standard.site 💖 and #ATproto

If yo girl…
1️⃣ lies awake in dread of lock in on legacy based platforms
2️⃣ dreams of open publishing as a wide blue sky filled with white clouds
3️⃣ is a silly lil guy
4️⃣ is passionate about thoughtful Atmosphere app integrations…
❌✋‼️That’s not yo girl!!!
🍃🥬🌳 That’s a Prospective Leaflet User!
Most likely yeah! Excited for all the work happening there. Depending on timing might ship with something on our own first to enable basic paid/member-gated content, we'll see.
scratch that…
"one small sprout for leaf, one giant leaf for leafkind"
still workshopping this one…
Thanks Ted! Clearly a thing we need to demo / show off more :)
Ordinarily if created / published from Leaflet, posts should be editable! In this case sounds like the post was created externally so that may be why it doesn't show as editable from within the app, cc/ @awarm.space I believe that's a case we have yet to handle
Our goal: build an extraordinarily versatile tool for publishers that helps you reach & engage your community (+ make $!)
How you can help: sign up for Leaflet Pro, send us feedback, share with friends, publish with abandon ✨🍃
one small step for leaf / one giant step for leafkind
subpage from the atscience 2026 agenda, with an open page, comments on the right, and a parent page on the left
Did you know 💡 you can publish subpages in Leaflet? 📑
@atproto.science used this for the ATScience 2026 agenda — still areas for us to improve, but a very cool experiment
Works in publications & looseleafs, and subpages even have their own quotes / comments!

Good idea! Might be a thing we can tackle eventually, can also see a community integration being cool here, like a way to sync to a @tangled.org repo or something :)
Okay fixed! They show both at bottom + on the side when screen's wide enough; we just had to add a bg for the sidenotes. Thanks @goose.art for reporting 🙏
Agreed, we should figure that one out!
Whoops sorry yes we need to get a bg on those, will fix!
More like a tradeoff that made more sense when we were more document focused and less publishing focused I think. We're still into the nested pages / horizontal panes but makes this more annoying to fix!
Very interesting! Hatena Keyword sounds cool. Not sure if we'd do as a core feature but we're actually working on extending mentions and embeds, might be a way someone could build this sort of thing with a nice integration in Leaflet. And I imagine more to play with once permissioned data lands :)
Agreed haha, thorn in our sides, it does work this way with page bg turned off but with pages (and subpages) it only scrolls within each page. Awkward but tricky, we'll figure out how to improve it eventually!
Hi, no worries at all! Honestly good reminder I started updating that 'about' page a couple weeks back but…clearly did not finish, need to get back to that soon 😅 We should revisit the homepage for new users too / at least make sure documentation is clearly linked there.
Nice, thanks! Definitely a fan of the "unlocking the commons" approach; experiments with this kind of crowdfunded unlocking articles / websites could be cool
Thanks! By 'main leaf' you mean like the publication homepage? (i.e. not personal organization on your homepage but more custom public facing collections of posts instead of just the list by recent yeah?)
Nice, actually playing with some stuff now around more custom embeds / mention interfaces, stay tuned!
