Biggest question most folks have right now is when do I buy?

I like to follow following link, which gives you some historical perspective on the S&P's PE over the years.

As you can see, S&P still is expensive.

Airlines have greatly benefited from the expansion of premier seating, especially United. Also, keep in mind, they'll begin adding starlink 2025.

And yes, their food still is not great, but that leaves some room for improvement on the table. 😂

IMO, their reliance on past franchise shoes (Jordans, dunks, air max) is concerning.

There is rarely ingenuity in the releases and I think the public has tired of the lack of ideas.

They need a creative director and outside voice. Virgil Abloh would have been perfect RIP.

I’m not so sure $NIKE is a good buy on the dip.

We’re talking about -23% in the last 5 years.

Their competition by $DECK (Hoka/Ugg) $ON (on cloud) and $CROX is real.

Massive miss by Nike on the comfort trend.

Also, I can’t personally name an exciting shoe they’ve released since the fly knits.

Not saying it’s a bubble, but be aware, stocks are not cheap.

Yeap, sales up across the board in all brand lines via last earnings (Nov 21)

- Old Navy: $2.2B +1% vs last yr
- Gap: $899M +1% vs last yr
- Banana Republic: $469M +2% vs last yr
- Athleta: $290M +4% vs last yr

A few other boring positions i'm working on right now are:
$GAP, $MRK

I personally aim for companies with good PEG ratios (0.5-1.5) along with solid PE(ttm), PE(fwd), and cash flow probably.

A) people get caught up in hype. The FOMO drives people to get in too late. And boring gets results, look at UAL (United) vs SPY this yr.

136.3% vs 27.81%

B) is like drafting a QB in the 1st round. It's exciting and fun, but sometimes it's a guy that's outta the league in a year or two. 🤷‍♂️

I love the fundamentals. US/China relations and China's economy concern me though.

Norwegian Cruise Line was also one of the upgrades.
