Revision season in full swing so I'm going to be using something I've knocked up called E2E (Example to Exam) Revision Sheets.

Posts by Mr 'DG' Goater
We were rewatching recently but got distracted by new things. The effort of changing DVDs every 4 episodes got too much I think haha. A worthy price to pay to have the proper font unlike streaming though :P
Highlights from my workshop today:
These were the questions that the participants found interesting from papers abroad. What do you think? #MathsConf40
Oh my. Searched it up and found somewhere saying "to open it, throw it at the floor" I laughed that I wasn't going to do that... 5 minutes later, gently threw it down at our kids play mat - it bounced and then just popped open like a button had been pressed!? 🤯
Wooden puzzle ball made of 6 interlocking blocks of wood
Completely stumped by this "puzzle" I won on the AQA wheel today at #MathsConf40 ... what am I supposed to do!? 😂
Smiling pair of maths teachers - Mr Goater and Dr Frost
We were told to upload photos from the day... best I can do is some photos with @drfrostmaths.bsky.social 😂 #MathsConf40
It's been a brilliant day. Too engrossed in everything to post haha :) Time for closing remarks! #MathsConf40
Lots of fun in session 1 with @mrmetacognition.bsky.social on language. Disappointed my brief foray into Duolingo Welsh didn't help me with many of the words in a Welsh question we were given :D I almost wore my Welsh rugby shirt today as well... #MathsConf40
My freebies haul is pretty good so far ;D #MathsConf40
On my way! Walking to #MathsConf40
It's such a dumb concept but so so good :D
Don't think I'm going to make #MathsConf40 drinks tonight, feeling rough :( good night sleep needed to enjoy tomorrow

Audiobook cover for JRR Tolkien's The Two Towers, read by Rob Inglis
Book #11 (Audiobook): and like buses they all come at once! My annual reread/listen of LoTR takes me to the Two Towers. I'll admit I put it at 1.2x speed once I got to Frodo and Sam 🫣 only noticed it when Frodo was remembering something Gandalf said, Gandalf shouldn't talk that fast 😂
Penguin Classics book cover for The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Book #10 (eBook): hmm, not for me this one, too flowery, not enough happened. My Goodreads is mostly 5* ratings, this only got 3. It was okay. Glad I've read it though. (Thanks to @mathsimpact.bsky.social and @emmaemma53.bsky.social for the rec)
Finished Severance. This is super niche but... it just feels like it's a prequel to Joss Whedon's Dollhouse? Dichen Lachman being in both sure doesn't help 😂
Just started Taskmaster (thank you Blue Light Card free month of 4+). I think, thanks to Last One Laughing, this is the first time I've known the entire lineup!
Super excited for my first in-person MathsConf. Still time to get tickets! Some great options made this difficult.

Then I could cycle through different examples, similar to the bingo game
Definitely for projecting rather than printing. So for example, if I've just taught alternate and corresponding angles, I could bring up a picture that has one angle with a size and several others labelled with letters. "Mini whiteboards, give me the letter of the corresponding angle" etc?
😂😂😂😂
Maths Teachers — If you could add a feature/resource type/section onto Mathsbox that would save you time or improve your lessons, what would it be? 👇
Would love to hear your ideas.
I often use your bingo games as a quick question generator for whiteboard check pre practice. Some topics it may be nice to have something similar but like goal free problems. I'm thinking particularly of angles in parallel lines as a recent example?
One of my pet peeves is when someone refers to the Easter holidays as half term. It reeeaaaalllllyyy bugs me lol. When a teacher does it!? Oh man.
Hmm, in the unlikely case the game does decide Brentford 5th and Liverpool not... may not be very safe place to take my kid 😂
Ha 😆 thinking of getting tickets if I can, although it's gonna be a massive Salah love fest isn't it?
