Chelsea. Now lost 5 games in a row, scoring zero goals in that time. Lovely to see them back around mid table where they belong.

"Everyone dies in the end. It’s just how you go, right? You can’t stop tragic things from happening. Fires do happen."

I was not prepared for that ending to ‘Farewell to Arms’ by Hemingway. I’ve never teared up at a book before.

Saw this ‘in the flesh’ in the Musée d'Orsay, Paris. Had no idea it was so small.

Section 28 wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for Thatcher who brought it in!

I disagree. They invented austerity. Thousands have died as a direct result.

I grew up in Yorkshire during the miners strike. I know how cruel Tory govt.s are by nature.

But it’s all about opinions. You do you.

I disagree. The Tories would be far worse. Starmer is making some hideous decisions but also has made good changes. When was the last Tory policy that was positive for ordinary workers, for example?

They would be even more emboldened and are clearly right up Trump’s arse.

I can’t speak for Tan but what was the alternative? A pointless vote for Libdems? Not vote? We had to get them out. I hoped Labour were being Tory like in the pre election just to grab Tory votes. But I knew it was a hope, not a fact.

Well I ain’t got time to read every tweet someone makes. I’m busy working to pay bills.

I also get that just because Starmer is a massive disappointment doesn’t mean he’s worse than another four years of the f’ing Tories!

Well said, Tan. Completely agree. It's so disheartening to see what Labour are doing. Depressing to think they're so Tory they're going to lose support that the uber Tories will get back in.

I think in coming years things are going to get far far worse for those struggling or on the verge.

A new business-speak phrase heard today. When someone wanted to discuss something with a colleague, the phrase used was "I'd like to double click with you on this".

It's only top of the news agenda because the UK media love Musk, or any high profile individual. Musk talking about the sex scandal was weaponized by right wing media and parties to attack the Labour government.

UK News agenda does not reflect what UK population's agenda. That is NHS, jobs etc.
