It’s a great day for Bucco baseball!!! #LetsGoBucs

We seem to have a lot in common with our teams. Griffin started slow but I think it’s a great deal in the end. When they said he was light years ahead of all prospects my thought was “what about McGonigle” he’s polished and destroyed the minors too.
I hear that. Especially a pitcher. Skenes is 23 and as good as gone. Maybe we can get a Soto SD deal. I’m good with the Griffin signing too. McGonigle for the D too.
The future is as promising as it’s been in ages. Bubba tonight, Ashcraft and a nice farm as you said. We will lose Skenes, as you will Skubal. We’ll see what the new CBA brings. Hang in there.
We are told it happens with every free agent now. Schwarber turned down 125M. Okamoto turned down the same amount of money the Jays gave him (not that I blame him and wouldn’t want him here anyway) this was the first offseason where Pirates were actually linked to real FAs in ages.
When they actually bumped the payroll up to 22nd in the league. And say see we told you we would spend. But to be honest. They could offer 300 million and a FA wouldn’t come here anyway.
Christ!!! It’s 2026…Put a roof on it already #ColoradoRockies. #MLB
The kinds of players people in Pittsburgh scream that they need. There aren’t many that after they are paid produce. I’ll take the Griffin contract any day.
So they know about Devers and Kris Bryant but they never heard of Anthony Rendon?
Yeah. Still waiting on that and the multiple other promises. Maybe Jeff Bezos got it.
Too many lies to count.
Time to add some more to the collection next month.
I feel the same about your teams stadium.
Beautiful as usual!!
For sure
I’m sure. I have Ashcraft, Bubba (the ulcers don’t stop there) and Jones on IL it’s been ok so far.
It has its charm
Free baseball. My favorite memory at Three Rivers besides the last game ever (still have my ticket encased) was the Cordova and Rincon combined no hitter.
Games like that are fun every once in a while. No doubt.
Oh man, I haven’t heard that one. I’m used to Dodgers Stadium. Or Chavez Ravine. I miss Vin!!
You will not be disappointed. The team has had some lean years for decades, but the stadium is beautiful. It’s nice to just sit there on a Sunday afternoon and take in the view with the game.
I think that was the thing when it was built. The “intimate” smaller stadium. Every seat I’ve had has been flawless, except the metal bleachers in left field. I don’t recommend 3rd base side on sunny days.
Same. He’s an icon here. There wasn’t a spot for him on this team. Sadly. I wish the best for him as he completes his career
I used to live at 3 Rivers. The Wild Things are a Frontier League team not too far from me. It’s a nice atmosphere.
New for the 26 season. They put it near the kids playground. Another distraction to not watch the game you paid 80 bucks plus parking to watch
It’s created excitement here for sure. I’m excited for next month. There is a signing here yearly. This year we got 9 Hall of Famers. And Ken Griffey Sr will be here to complete my Big Red Machine Collection.
First place too in the early going. I go to Cleveland every year or so for an AL game. Nice stadium there too. I miss the days of the Jake. My favorite MLB team ever was the 1995 Indians.
Me too. There is reports they will talk to Skenes about an extension. But that time is long gone. They are 22nd in payroll now and over 100M. It isn’t earth shattering but it’s progress. And their play to date shows. Let’s see what the CBA brings after the lock out
