Wonderful to see the raging raisin woman hop on the ‘call him a liar’ bandwagon. That’s all she ever does proving empty vessels always make the most noise.

And he wasn’t alone in expressing that opinion was he, Nigel Farage?!

I'm sure it's quite a regular occurrence.

I'm also convinced that's the reason Mandelson was appointed. But above all let's not forget, as @lewisgoodall.com has pointed out, neither the media nor the Establishment like having a Labour govt which explains why it's held to a much higher level of accountability than a Tory govt would ever be.

It was, but he has to correct the record. With Trump there's nothing more he can do and Trump will ignore him anyway. I'm just sick and tired of political opportunism. Appointing Mandelson was the wrong decision, but I hope someone points out to Farage that it was a decision he endorsed at the time.

Don’t think Starmer can make it any clearer than he has already.

So, after calling for Starmer to resign you’re now asking him to continue doing what he’s already done. You’re all over the place, Ed. Maybe just give it a rest, eh.

David Bullshit has been a bit quiet of late. But he’s back spouting his usual crap again.

Great piece - as ever.

Wrong. This take via Alex Wickham Bloomberg is likely the most accurate: Sources say Olly Robbins felt bound by the rules of the security vetting process NOT to tell the PM, No10 or the foreign secretary about the concerns raised about Mandelson meaning No 10 were unaware of issues with his vetting.

Fair point. Bandwagon jumping is never a good look, especially when you’re on the same bandwagon as Badenoch, Farage and Polanski. Sometimes standing apart, even alone or saying nothing, is the best position to take.

Complete and utter bullshit.

It’s actually quite sad. I believe him to be fundamentally a good man, and I enjoyed some of his stunts in the run up to the election But it seems to me he’s just lost his way. Maybe a change of leadership would help - the country really needs a strong LidDem presence.

FFS, I don’t give a flying one about how it works. To further suggest Starmer’s weak when he stands up to Trump, contrary to the stance taken by Badenoch, Farage, Polanski, the MSM & the shabby Blair, and it would be far more expedient not to. You stick to your agenda, I’ll stick with my principles.

So hilarious you're blocked. Bye!

So, the polls about his handling of Trump, the Iranian conflict, and the war in Ukraine are wrong are they. I get the potential protest vote at the May elections, but Westminster bubble soap operas pale into insignificance when you consider the bigger picture. And Starmer is right across it.

The 'key questions' were asked by Emily Thornberry & the Foreign Affairs Committee. They were mislead by Robbins who also decided he could hide the failed vetting not only from the PM, but every minister. Starmer won't be sacked; there is no viable alternative and he has more support than you think.

He didn't and he won't. And absolutely no way is the Labour govt as bad as the Conservatives. Sadly, you've become just a cheap opportunist.

If you embarrass a sitting PM by not revealing a crucial piece of evidence, as well as misleading the Foreign Affairs Committee, you deserve to be fired. Seems to me Sir Olly had been in a position of power for so long he thought he could do as he liked. Good riddance.

Do I believe you or Starmer? Starmer every time.

You're a trier I'll grant you that. Starmer has taken responsibility and apologised on numerous occasions. Do keep up.

For all that Starmer's a poor politician 'lazy, incompetent and dishonest' he is not. I think you're referring to the orange fella in the White House. And, for the record, he will still be PM in the autumn.

Ed Davey Jumps On Another Bandwagon. There's your headline.

Jeez - you really are showing your ignorance. It really would help if you were aware of the facts rather than simply posting your biased opinion.
