Okay nerds. I got a question.
It's 2025. What are we using for terminal apps on macOS? I was using hyper.is but it hasn't got an update in 2 years and is, I'm guessing, dead.
Requirements: fast, open source, works with macOS nicely, doesn't get in my way

Yeah, since the spring! I can’t express how happy I am to be home, even if my bath mat is always soggy. Would love to grab something the next time you’re back 😁
Moving back to Van from the Okanagan was a trip for the same reason. So many things I could just air dry but can’t here.
Nothing will ruin the streak 🫡
The bat signal of millennials: completing your Duolingo on public transit, heading home from a music festival that ended at 11p 😂
this is the correct decision
especially when you’re trying to “compare investment and influence” in oss projects because 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ who tf knows
This is where the neurodivergent flavour “track every flight you’ve been on because planes and trains are cool” really comes in handy 😂😂
Haha I was hanging out with @aparker.io briefly last night. Hope #OTelDay is great!
lol I just missed you. Heading back to Vancouver today!
Skinny jeans already seem to be making a come back
Last week at KubeCon Japan was amazing! This week, back at it at Open Source Summit NA in Denver!
Want to chat about Kubernetes, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, or which Japanese konbini chicken is best? Come find me! #osssummit
This is so cool! ✨
Looking forward to KubeCon Japan in Tokyo and Open Source Summit in Denver in the next couple of weeks. Hope to see you all there! #KubeCon #ossna25
Struggling to put into words how I feel about the recent tragedy in Vancouver on Lapu Lapu Day. My heart is aching, along with the rest of our city.
One thing folks can do if you feel so inclined, is to donate blood. It’s always needed, but events like this can be a significant drain on the system
For the first time in my life, I have a drivers license that doesn’t require me to wear corrective lenses. This is strange lol
Jorge is both amazing and a grade A troll 😂
If I leave one legacy in the #kubernetes community, I hope it will not be for any code I’ve written, systems I’ve built, or governance policies I’ve implemented.. I hope I will be remembered for the kindness and empathy I bring to others around me and the relationships I made.
Be kind. #kubecon
I have a conflict and won’t be able to make this today, but if you are wanting to get started in #kubernetes contributing, go meet my exceptionally talented friends and colleagues! #kubecon
Hopefully ya'll have seen how passionate Jeefy, Bob, and I are about our contributors. We're ready to push harder, with an explicit focus on developers. gitjobs.dev

Easier for many more places to get to, easier visa processes, many NA tech companies pulling back on travel budgets, etc.. been a trend for a few years, and to be honest not one I’m upset about. Love to see cloud native technologies exposed to more and more people, US based or not.
Really fascinating keynote. I love seeing the ways that the things we build are enabling folks like Rob and his team to make the world a better place.
Haha I remember that. And for the record, wasn’t pissed. But I have also told folks many times that we aren’t “saving lives” in upstream. Nothing we do is life or death. Mistakes can be fixed. A nation state government on the other hand…
There’s an opportunity for a funny alt account: status.lookitup.baby
At a certain point I think Ian needs to invest in a status page 😂
“🔴 offline for the holidays, please don’t bother kat”
It must suck to be one of those people who paid for Canada Post’s mail holding services for when folks are on vacation and the like, now that they’re just giving that to every resident of Canada for free, regardless if they wanted it or not.
Gotcha. So not so much about the tech or working in our communities, but how companies are exploiting workers as opposed to partnering with their labour force for shared success and growth.
Seems like a straightforward problem to solve, if there was any desire from the corporate class 😕
