William Taylor's "'The factory is a fertile body': Impersonal Flesh, Miscarriage, and the Failure of Queer-inhuman Affect in Elle Nash’s Deliver Me" discusses compulsory carnist capitalism, queer subjectivity, and systemic violence in @saderotica.bsky.social's acclaimed novel.

I finished the year with just three books read in December, but that was fine by me.

Animals Eat Each Other is a brilliant, dark, sexy, heartbreaking, one of a kind type of story that @saderotica.bsky.social tells seamlessly. I couldn’t help but be on edge for the main protagonist, “Lilith”, in this pressure cooker of a situation she found herself in.

Once upon a time I did a series in response to NUDES by @saderotica.bsky.social by layering alcohol ink, colored pencil, and tulle. I still have several originals available, framed. It's funny when meaningful work is "less marketable" for some reason, but anyways, I love them

A blurb from Elle Nash for the novel What The Dead Can Do by Peter Rosch that reads, "Rosch has artfully flipped the story of every parent’s worst fear. With tension that burns like sudden fire, What the Dead Can Do is a heart-wrenchingly turbulent thriller that asks us to confront our deepest fears about love and loyalty."

on the one hand, gotta time the algo for max exposure, on the other hand (if me), gotta post asap in case the mountain lions repopulating Wimberley get me in the garden this afternoon. What happened after my eyes took in this blurb from the superb @saderotica.bsky.social you ask? Vomit, but sparkly.
