BREAKING: TIKTOK has been completely throttling most political posts since 24 hours ago, right after the deal closed where Trump allies took over the US portion of the platform. Any post I make about Alex Pretti receives between 0 and 1000 views. I have over 125,000 followers and my typical video will get between 20,000 and 5 million views. I can confirm that other large creators, especially democratic-leaning, have had the same issue. This includes Dean Withers and Harry Sisson.

on twitter, like what is the point of coming here to tell me how you feel about me, is it to make sure THAT I KNOW you think I'm wrong and I just shouldn't be allowed to go on another day without knowing how you feel? Is this supposed to INSPIRE me to "do the right thing" (in your view)?

Twitter is bad. Maybe being on twitter is bad. But I'd argue I've been able to do a hell of a lot more good as a result of the people I've met on there.Some big moral sacrifice to just delete the app does nothing. trying to do more on OF directly (but they take 20% and a lot of my regulars don't want accounts there). Anyway, I'm working on it. I still volunteer on Tuesdays for pantry, but I'm not able to volunteer full-time anymore since I'm working a bar job to help supplement until I can get an ACTUAL job.
Being on twitter (not paid thru twitter but by people) last year let me actually volunteer FULL TIME at the shelter by my house from Dec 1-March 31 when they were open for cold weather overnight. Full time work. Since twitter has slid into more evil-dom, I've been doing less and less content and

It really doesn't matter how much good you do in your life for yourself, for others, it doesn't matter how much you fight for the little guy or how kind you are. What matters is people will find something they don't like about you and decide you're more worthy of the trash than friendship.
