Rachel and Stephen were the best players so can’t really begrudge them winning. An improvement on series three but I still think series two is the best series #TheTraitors

I can’t wait for an estate agent to go on that’s guaranteed first banishment
Didn’t know who Matthew was at the start of the episode certainly know who he is now 😱 Deal with the devil #TheTraitors
“Every Christmas is last Christmas”
Don’t know if this is controversial or not but this is my favourite #DoctorWho Christmas special 🎄
The War Between the Land and Sea started off great and then declined to being just fine. Nothing too offensive and I enjoyed the performances, particularly Kate just being unhinged. Overall it’s a 6.5/10 didn’t have the highs of your Lux/The Well but nothing close to the drek of The Reality War.
In terms of Switch (2) Pokemon games it’s definitely better than Scarlett/Violet, BDSP and Let’s Go but not as good as Legends Arceus. Probably about on par with Sword/Shield as just solid for me
Finished Legends ZA main story last night and I thought it was…. all right. Battle system was fun but the map is too samey and the pacing of the story I found a bit weird. Nice to use the Chikorita line in a play through where they weren’t totally useless
If I’m running the BBC (scary thought) the 2026 Christmas special wraps up the whole Billie Piper/David Tennant loose ends and Russel T bows out. Then we can launch into an exciting new era with new faces in front of and behind the camera #DoctorWho
I know it’s harder than it looks but unfortunately for me the tide has turned with the last couple of episodes from enjoying The Celebrity Traitors to just being frustrated. Jonathan Ross still not being voted out is insane to me
Not blue sky’ed in a while but safe to say Boro winning 3-0 away at Millwall is worth firing up the app again. Probably my lowest expectations going into a season for a while but Edwards might quietly be putting something together here #UTB
Peter Capaldi as the Doctor in Heaven Sent
Just finished rewatching series 9 of Doctor Who and it’s gotten even better with age. I can see why the final episode is divisive but other than maybe series 10 there hasn’t been one close to it since. 12 and Clara might have the best companion doctor dynamic. For me only series 4 and 5 rival 9.
This series of Taskmaster is maybe my favourite ever or certainly the best one in years such a great cast + some of the most original tasks we’ve seen
Now I’ve got my hands on a switch 2 going to give Pokemon Scarlett another go and see if it fares a bit better than the ok first play through I had.
Just beat the league in Pokemon Black and while you can’t beat HGSS or even Platinum/Emerald for post game replayability I think the main plot might be my favourite in the whole franchise. Here’s the team that got the job done
I may become addicted to the knockout tour mode on the new Mario Kart
Paying for toilets regardless of method should be the real headline
But more broadly doccy who needs to keep changing and adapting which is why Gatwa was a breath of fresh air and even though he’s done some good stuff in this return run I’d like Russel T to hand over the reigns in the near future to get some fresh people with new ideas writing this glorious show
Now obviously I’m going to continue watch the show (however it continues) because I love doccy who and one thing that’s keeping me interested is that Billie wasn’t introduced in the credits as the doctor like previous incarnations on their debut.
As for the regeneration into Billie Piper I’m afraid to say I don’t like it. Russel T has already pulled the nostalgia card once with Tennant - which for an anniversary special is fine but to do it so soon cheapens the whole thing and just feels like a shock regeneration for shock’s sake
The fact Gatwa never got to square off with the likes of the daleks, cyber men etc is such a shame but that’s also due to the short episode counts we now have. So basically I liked 15’s run but it’s going to feel like a messy and incomplete era
The finale was so rushed, the rani and omega dispatched way too easily for me and while I really liked the 13 cameo I felt 15 would’ve really got cooking with a third season and there’s a lot tied to this specific era that’s unresolved from Susan to the boss and probably other stuff I’m forgetting
It’s clear now the original ending was not Ncuti regenerating but they changed it a few months ago with him not wanting to wait around for a potential third series given his career is on such a rise. Overall I liked his doctor but there’s a huge sense of what could’ve been
Some thoughts on the final episode of this season’s Doctor Who now I’ve had a chance to sleep on it. Firstly I think this season’s been overall pretty good - the most consistent since maybe series 9 but the ending just felt very odd
An absolutely insane end to this series of doctor who - I am genuinely baffled I have absolutely no idea how to feel
Depending on how the finale goes we are on for an all time series of Doctor Who. If it sticks the landing it could reach heights the show hasn’t seen for at least a decade
The last three episodes of Andor cap off what I reckon is the best instalment in the whole franchise including all the films, TV, everything. Makes me desperate to go back and watch Rogue One because I’m going to have a whole new appreciation for an already great film
True interesting to see what the effects will be in Tory vs Lib Dem battlegrounds (particularly in the South East) because I don’t think reform will sweep in and as easily replace the conservatives as they have in other parts of the country
Also the injection of Carney into the election was a huge factor - if Starmer is still leader by 2029 (which I think he will be) and he keeps on the same trajectory then I can’t see people rallying behind Labour just to keep Reform out
What a terrible end to another underwhelming season. Not been helped at all by transfers but I think over three years Carrick has showed us he’s not the man to take us forward. #Boro
The latest episode of Doctor Who - wow. One of, if not my favourites of this era so far just so so good. This season has gone from strength to strength
