It has been strange to think this is one element that has gone away, but my lord its exhilerating.

This has been the first time in a very long time I feel my mental health has started to make progress in the right direction.
I am posting this, because had I just spoken to those who could help sooner, I would not have suffered for so long.

Fast forward to her 5th birthday today, and for the first time I have not thought back. I've been more relaxed, and have finally had answers. I should have had these after the birth which I didn't recieve due to covid, and I only got the information to move forward due to declining mental health

Today has been super wierd for me. 5 years ago, I went through a massive trauma and what could have been a deathly experience. This was the birth of my daughter, and for 5 years I would celebrate, but with caution and anxiety because of having vivid memories and fears from that day.

It's always hard to see light at the end of the tunnel. But help from the right people can change everything. I'd be nothing without the CBT I had, Club601, UKSG and ofcourse more importantly my family

2024 sucked. Loss of 2 pets, mental breakdown, 11 months of untreated sleep apnea, and redundancy. 2025 I became a mod for an amazing community, a mod for an amazing event, and now a member of their safety team. That with a new career aspect with upcoming training. Just shows, things can get better.
