Yes, my eldest hooked onto a lot of misogynistic misinformation (no such thing as a gender pay gap, etc...) as a mid-to-late teen. My wife and I had discussions with him about the quality of information that he was consuming and eventually he settled into a better informed, empathetic young man.

If this government can afford to hand $368b to Trump for AUKUS submarines, why can’t they afford to fully fund women and children’s safety?

There has been good work done to bring violence against women into the spotlight and encourage women to seek help.

But if that help is not there because there isn’t enough funding, we are condemning women to homelessness, violence or death.

This week, advocates gathered in Parliament House to demand the government make women’s safety a priority in the lead up to International Women’s Day and fully fund frontline services.

The Greens proudly and loudly back those demands.

I hope Senator Crockett finds another way to serve.

Outside, there are pale pink connective tissue strands and many, many red cells and nucleated cells. This is the red pulp. At the top of the white pulp is a small arteriole and a layer of cells - this is the peri-arteriolar lymphoid sheath, or PALS. There is a photo of the author in this area. Hence, me hanging with my PALS. It's a hilarious histology joke but very niche.
