Sorry I don't post on here very often but thought I'd share the more-or-less completed front cover for Book 2 of The Bumptown Series. Once I've finished a line edit I'll let you know about pre-order information.
It's been a slog but I'm nearly there.
The front cover of Book 2 of The Bumptown Series is taking shape. If I do a cover reveal soon that should give me the kick up the backside to get on with draft #13,532 and eventually start pre-orders.
I haven't posted here much since joining. That might be because: I self-censor to the point of silence; I want to promote my book and due to the current climate it feels jarring; and I'm also on threads and it feels like I'm spread too thinly. I'll probably do a refresher soon due to new accounts.

Well so far my "Discover" feed is a lot more interesting than Threads' "For You" feed, which seemed to just be "Following" plus 5% random posts.

I'm finishing book 2 of my series but I'm still in the discovery if the remaining three and it gives me a thrill whenever I get those flashes of inspiration or development of plot/character.
It's tempered slightly by the grind that is draft 7 of book 2, but still.
Finishing up draft SEVEN of Book 2. There's at least one more to go. Wondering if I'm stalling because I don't want to revisit the front cover. It's a busy image - as a thumbnail it's a splurge.
