In my team we call these "Sturdy" vs "Fragile" games — how vulnerable is the game to misinterpretation? Some of my favorite games are very fragile, but it's good to know which kind you're working on IMO.

yeah, in my team we talk a lot about the "texture" of the turns. Polishing a game is good and fine, but I don't want to develop a smooth, featureless sphere.
