I thought about it, but I also thought of all the mouths that had touched him before me. In the end I just blew him a kiss, which I suspect doesn’t count.

I keep wanting to call this guy the Salmon of Doubt, since Douglas Adams has invaded by brain. But he’s the Salmon of Knowledge.

The romance in general had a harder edge as they were originally seeking a PG-13 rating, but were ultimately forced to tone it down.

The armadillo was also supposed to be a god in disguise at one point, but that plot point was dropped and now it‘s just a regular armadillo.

The same thing happened with El Dorado over at DreamWorks. The soundtrack’s fine, but it was apparently written for an earlier version of the story and I think you can tell.

(Also the promo video tricked me into thinking that Elton John would actually be in the movie as himself.)

Fascinating stuff, but if I was 15 years old and wanting to see Freddy Krueger, I'm not sure how thrilled I'd have been to have to sit through a 20 minute art film about heroin addiction first.
