Agents can write code all day, but running and iterating on it? Different story🫠

Aspire 13.2 adds structure and a real feedback loop for agents with code, not Markdown.

@maddy.fm is here to share how Aspire gives your agent some bumpers 🎳

For tools like AZ, gh, or sentry
And for local agents/apps*

In tools like claude code. Using cli might be easier to use. But we can't easily block the agent to do write actions for instance. Because the tool call is just a string.
One of my dream: mcp uses Auth token from the cli. We keep control but don't need to provide token or Auth twice!

I've been helping a lot with @npmx.dev lately. Part of that is setting up a PDS for new to the atmosphere users have a frictionless way to create an account with the .npmx.social ending and join in on npmx's social features. In 10 days we have

- 108 active accounts
- 92ish are new accounts for npmx

Anatomy of an API: three ways to stream with ServerSentEvents() A blog post exploring why minimal API’s TypedResults.ServerSentEvents() has three different overloads, what each one does, and how to avoid mixing them up when you’re streaming data to clients.

Continuing my series dissecting APIs and the thinking behind them.

Today: balancing abstraction vs. control. Great APIs let you start simple and grow into complexity as you need to.

Yes, I would prefer to use only typespec but there was no emitter for zod in September when I started my project. I'm waiting for the new emitter framework to play with.
So, Orval is more mature for now and easy to setup.
( + it's a Belgian project but it's not relevant here)

orval orval is able to generate client with appropriate type-signatures (TypeScript) from any valid OpenAPI v3 or Swagger v2 specification, either in yaml or json formats. 🍺

Combine with orval.dev to generate zod schemas from Openapi V3, it's a great combo to have a nice view of the api and easily ensure that both inputs and output are correct. I still have a bit of boilerplate for each endpoint, but for a small project, I'm OK with that.

Bluesky Network Analyzer Find accounts that you don't follow (yet) but are followed by lots of accounts that you do follow.

My app for finding 🦋 accounts you may want to follow has had a make-over: it now displays names and bios, and allows adding an "app password" for direct follow buttons in the listing
