We all seem to have forgotten one of the most truly delightful and surprising indie interactive fiction drops of the last decade.
17776 is ostensibly about football, which is why at first glance I thought I wouldn't like it. But it really makes me smile, and the world could use that right now.
Since VRChat is pretending to not notice the “secret sauce” of their best performing world release is group mobility and exploration of a physically large world. Please upvote my ancient feedback post about providing a vehicle-friendly alternative to VRCStation.

Originally when I first put out the Sword Summoner I wanted to make a room for it, but my ambitions were too high and I didn't want it to delay the avatar base release. I finally decided to scale back my ambitions and put together just what was needed to get the idea across.

All of my VRChat Marketplace avatars use this and custom modules I’ve written to make the mixing and matching of multiple layers of patterns and materials possible.
This is seriously one of the most powerful shader packages I’ve ever used. The included standard shader is a great world shader, but it’s more than that. The ability to quickly and easily write your own modules with minimal boilerplate has been a godsend. It’s like surface shaders on crack.

I like to think that I stayed pretty close to the original art. Some proportions definitely changed; some by accident, some for the sake of humanoid rigging, and some just because the original art was non-euclidian in places lol
The original design was another police robot. But I just did one of those with RiOT, so I removed all the police-specific details for a bit more of an industrial angle. The new forklift/cargo-loader backstory and the extra hover-mode details helps bring the new vision together.
There aren't any development sketches for Bounder, because it's based on an old drawing of mine from 2019. The original drawing didn't have any lower legs though, so I did have to design those more recently.

I have yet to find a uv packing tool that can group islands based on their relation in 3D space. To be fair this is not my best pack, but the islands are placed somewhat in relation to where they are on the model.
