Not at all. We grill or fry them. Just cook to 160 like regular meat.
Also I have really enjoyed using the blocks of Impossible just like ground meat in so many recipes like chili or 🌮. Also the meatballs are great! I find simmering them in sauce for 45 min or more makes them come out sooo good. 😊

I rarely, like annually, get barista drinks. Had the same “excuse me, what?!” reaction the other day when I treated myself to an iced matcha.
It was more than the hourly minimum wage.

Have abstained from beef (and 🐔) since 1987.
If you can find it near you, Impossible burgers et al vastly superior, IMHO.

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.

A screenshot of a Facebook post by CBS 2 Boise. The post text reads: "A new state law required the City of Boise to take down the Pride flag outside City Hall. Tuesday morning, the City wrapped flag poles in Pride colors and added a new sign to the window on City Hall. CBS2 reached out to the Mayor and Governor’s office for comment."
Below the text is a collage of three photos showing these updates:
Left: A tall metallic flagpole in a plaza at night, with its lower section wrapped in horizontal stripes matching the colors of the Progress Pride flag (black, brown, light blue, pink, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
Top Right: A closer view of a flagpole base, also wrapped in horizontal Progress Pride flag colors.
Bottom Right: A large window on City Hall featuring a graphic with diagonal stripes in the Progress Pride colors alongside the text, "Creating a city for everyone."

Oh, this is good. Idaho passed a bill banning local cities from flying the Pride flag. So the cities decided to wrap the poles themselves in pride colors.

This is amazing.

After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was removed from AFP and Getty’s systems. This is the photo in question. Please do not repost it. 👇

March, 19-21: God is a comedian A stiff drink is recommended

This is an excellent summary of the US War on Iran current situation.

I’m an existentialist and borderline absurdist and even I struggle with the current moment.

This summary is just fantastic.

I know I've said this a trillion times but I have to say it periodically to keep from going insane:

The right ran a huge, well-funded, & ultimately successful campaign to completely take over political media & the infosphere more generally. This is by far the most important political development...

I’ll probably disappointed you-I don’t post much at all, mostly just soak it all in!

But srsly, why do ppl feel the need to comment on something so irrelevant to them? Like, why do you care! Why are you spending time spewing negativity, and for what? It says MUCH more about you than anything!

Policy choices that are locked in for the most part with long term solutions torpedoed by this group of 🤡 in power.
But this intellectual discussion blunts the very real impact this will have on many, many working people who are already barely hanging on from recent inflation and low wage growth.

For some reason unknown to me, Meta just authorized me to participate in their "community notes" program. I just gave it a test run and the first 10 stories it flagged as needing "community note" fact checking were stories that coded as leftist or anti-Trump. Very fair and balanced Zuck!
