Honestly genuinely nuts to me that the game touted as being for hardcore toxic sweatlords, Tarkov, has a safe pocket so you can at least preserve some progress on a failed run and also has PvE while Marathon, the game people assumed would bring the genre to casuals, does not.

At its core the extraction genre is just a roguelite with temporary gear-based metaprogression alongside permanent upgrade-based progression. It's a very fun and addictive loop when you're not hitting a wall because other players who are better and more geared kill you (hence the safe pocket)

Arc Raiders and now Gray Zone are hitting it big by doing one simple thing: making getting sniped from across the map and losing all your shit an opt-in experience instead of the default. This is also probably what's keeping Tarkov afloat too since that has PvE now too.

There are a bunch of them. Hunt and Arc Raiders both use an optional prestige system instead of wipes. IIRC Tarkov is also experimenting with an optional wipe system now in PvE. Delta Force and Arena Breakout Infinite are also no-wipe games.

Peggy being in C feels right. Plenty of good Peggy episodes but later on they got so lazy writing her. Rewatching the series in order really made it stand out how she went from overall kind but a bit conceited to actually genuinely mean as shit for the sake of a bad joke. Lame!
