A family member from whom I am now estranged* used to theorize that Gene Hackman was, in some way, in every movie. Even in movies he wasn’t in, he was in. (Example, he appears on the TV in the hotel in Big.) What a legend he was.

as an Austinite I reached out to my dad last night to make sure I got my shots as a kiddo, and to make sure he (also local) did and to check if he might need a revaccination. Did the same w my in-laws. It’s just insane we even have to think about this for a disease that was effectively eradicated!!!
