KATHRYN WHAT ARE YOU DOING FILTRATION IS GONNA DISAPPEAR IF WE KEEP GOING BACK
I'm happy to announce that after three patches, Filtration is in a solid enough state that updates are moving from "fixing issues" to "adding cool new things." (Issues will still be fixed, of course--I'm just no longer in a position where I feel like I have to fix anything urgently.)
Oh, and since I apparently never actually said these words in my 10AM Monday stupor: THANK YOU. It means the world to me that you're interested in the worlds I create.
Also--yes, the game is being updated! I released v1.0.1 last night to tackle most of the major bugs, and I don't intend to stop there. I want to make sure new players have a great experience.
Please keep spreading the word to anyone who might be interested. I'm running this ship on a marketing budget about the size of an ant's toe, so word of mouth is crucial! Got a friend who likes puzzle platformers? A cousin who's obsessed with Super Monkey Ball? Why not recommend my game to them?
So far the reception to Filtration has been beyond what I expected--people are buying the game, playing the game, and leaving glowing reviews!

FILTRATION IS OUT! This is only the magnum opus I've been working on since 2019, so, y'know, buy it if you like puzzle platformers I guess. store.steampowered.com/app/3415080/...

12. Mostly once it's done, it's done, but I'll definitely pay attention to feedback on whether people want more. I'm open to making additional content, but only IF there's enough support for it in the community! I want it to be worth my while.
11. Filtration is a ball-rolling platformer, so there's plenty of physics to go around (see above). Look forward to things you can push and turn.
10. Hoo boy. Most modern physics engines have a bug where objects can occasionally bounce off of edges in the middle of a flat surface. Usually this is fine, but for ball-rolling games, it's a big deal. My solution in Filtration is to detect this by *manually* calculating the physics on the side.
9. Mostly just me. I had a couple of friends who helped here and there, making a couple of models, a bit of music. I have a dedicated team of beta testers who are making sure the game plays as well as it can right now.
