I kind of fell in love with the MC in my reader magnet and now I want to write a whole book (if not two) about her. But I just. Don't. Have. The. Time! #amwriting #writingcommunity

Started working on a prequel short story to offer as a lead magnet for my newsletter. #cozy #amwriting
Just wrote the first 100 words for my newsletter lead magnet. It's a prequel of my paranormal cozy mystery series set in the 1970s. #amwriting #promo

Some islands don’t show up on official maps.
Pack your bags — I’ll take you there… somewhere in the Cyclades.
A brand-new #cozymystery— coming this summer.

On Sunday, I completed a year of writing/editing every day—no matter the time, even 10 min count. As I look back at all I've done in 2025, I marvel at how every little bit adds up.
So I wish you a year of unwavering showing-up and triumph—loud or quiet, it still counts. #authorsky #writingcommunity
Lifnos Island is under a winter slumber.
Come summer, ghosts will roam—and secrets won’t stay buried. #bookteaser #storyteaser #cozy #cozymystery
Writing Tea: I'm working hard on getting Book 1 in my cozy mystery series ready to be published in the summer of 2026. Recently, I sent the first page to be reviewed and edited by the talented April Davila. Here's a sneak peak of the story and a live edit:

The cover of Winter of the Sci-fi and Fantasy vol 1 anthology, featuring a cool blue and icy colour theme, including a dark dragon breathing a cool mist in the top corner, and a robot rampaging through a frozen city in the bottom corner.

Only authors will get how hard and how satisfying it is to cut 850 words from a 2,870 word scene. #writingcommunity #authorsky
Okay, confession time: I work better when I'm under an axe. Well, not literally, but my word output is much higher when I use a timer. But not just any timer--one I can't control AKA stop. I think that probably makes me a bit of a masochist... #writingcommunity
The first chapter has been written!
Milestones (big and small) are essential to me. I need to track my progress to motivate myself to keep going.
When you set a goal, do you track your progress, use milestones or are you a lucky unicorn that just puts their head down and gets the job done?
It is! Writing the ghost bits is my favorite part. 👻👻👻
Okay, I'll be honest. This year, my writing life is a bigger mess than ever. I couldn't really decide my goal for November so I decided to go hybrid: I'm going to write to the midpoint of book 2 and do at least 1 revision pass on book 1 in my paracozy mystery series.
Simple right? #writingcommunity
Let the drafts begin!
November is the month when writers come together to WRITE! The first draft is the hardest so a lot of writers try to get it over with as quickly as possible.
So... Wish me luck!

How's everyone spending their #Halloween? It's 2 a.m. here and I'm watching a new TV show about an old serial killer: The Monster of Florence.
Just wrote the first 1,000 words in book 2 in my paranormal cozy mystery series. Only about 65,000 to go, but who's counting? #writingcommunity #authorsky
RIP
A man that didn't care about the surface of things/people.
"𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑠... 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑇𝑉 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒."
Does anyone have trouble waiting until it's time to do the thing and is just biting nails and counting seconds?
Asking for a friend...
An important distinction...
Writers more than anyone know that words are powerful and we must wield that power carefully.
245 consecutive days of #writing or editing. Some days it was 15 minutes, others 2 hours, but the sum is forward momentum and progress.
I'm not a Swiftie but this resonated with me because that's my goal—to make my readers feel something. If only I had the same success... #authorsky #writingcommunity
I'm attending this event. RT if you think others will find this helpful 🙌 worldshift.manyworldswriting.com
Some days, I wonder why I'm hip-deep in this industry where getting trad-published is so darn hard. Then I remember I'm not a professional, but a lover of the arts (as we Greeks call an amateur) and my soul is content again. #writingcommunity #authorsky #writer #fiction
Oooh, sounds delicious!
It used to be for me too, but now I'm a bit obsessed. It's like fitting together puzzle pieces.
