This is what a rigged system looks like.

The trailer for the film using an AI-generated Val Kilmer has been released. Last month, @bryanreesman.bsky.social wrote: "Even if Kilmer approved, the impact of this 'performance' risks being undercut by its artificiality — and what’s at stake goes beyond one star."

Right?
Jeff Bezos is worth $220 billion.
After building that fortune from overworking and exploiting his own workers, Bezos is now developing a fund to acquire manufacturing companies and automate them.
Why do we always hear about immigrants taking jobs when the oligarchs are actually to blame?
While flawed for different reasons (Donner probably should have kept in a bit of Lester footage for pacing purposes), I prefer this to the theatrical version because it's darker and shows us what could have happened if Donner had stayed on. We could have had a truly great quadrilogy.
Happy Birthday to me and Tony Iommi! (And also, Nicolaus Copernicus!)

Screenshot of a CNN segment shared by Acyn. A split-screen shows commentator Lydia Moynihan on the left and Kevin O’Leary on the right during a heated exchange. The chyron reads, “Obama: Dems need to avoid scolding and ‘virtue-signaling.’” The post quotes O’Leary referencing China and concentration camps, and McGowan responding about West Virginia.
I spent my childhood inside of American concentration camps. I know one when I see one. And that is what ICE is building.
It's great that Swayze could do this and "Dirty Dancing" and be equally loved for both.
Seems like an appropriate time to confirm myself & @bryanreesman.bsky.social do the commentary for this sucker… or should I say “hisser”? Out in the US on January 20, 2026 from my pals and yours at @arrowvideo.bsky.social!
Sadly, too many young people are used to hearing computerized rock and pop music now. So much stuff is set to a click, and I think a lot of these groups don't actually know how to play well live and have the ebb and flow that can make a concert really interesting.
"Side Jams" Episode #87: Guitarist Neil Giraldo combines passion for music and bourbon. Three Chord Bourbon has done collabs with Halestorm, the Allman Brothers, and Dinosaur Jr., among others.

A tricky part about loving horror movies and cult films is that... they're not always what we expect. I now have a 15-minute rule where I check out early if it's not grabbing me.
For the record, Max did not bring his old timey radio to our recording session, but it might have been fun if he had!
I remember watching the truncated first season of "Entourage" and being amused. Then I realized it was just the male version of "Sex and the City" and stopped watching. They were both shows about seemingly hip but vapid urbanites with questionable values that mythologized their self-involved lives.
My Spinal Tap interview is the lead feature on Grammy.com today! We cover everything from David's beef with Paul McCartney to Nigel's dream for them to play in a space station. And was Sabrina Carpenter inspired by the "Smell The Glove" cover?

It feels like everything "analog" comes back eventually. ;)
I loved the second night of the 10th annual A Murder Of Crows goth and post-punk festival on Saturday night. It was a bit of a mid-'90s flashback as I saw many people I first got to know back then, all of whom are still doing their music.

I mainly buy indie comics. There are a lot of good horror books out there too.
It's amazing what brainwashing will do. It's also weird how so many poor people believe that most rich people actually care about them. They just dream that someday they'll acquire that wealth and thus buy into the trickle down BS.
So true. Or society does not encourage creative or critical thinking much. It's all about making money, and too much of a focus on that leads to lack of empathy, even for one's self. Everyone should have a creative outlet to express themselves, even if the rewards are not monetary.
Here's my interview with
georgetakei.bsky.social about his second graphic novel memoir. We cover everything from his "Twilight Zone" episode and "Star Trek" comic book story to how current events echo darker ones from our past.

The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.
The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.
Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.
The list goes on and on.
Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.
Sadly funny.

I found my Ozzy interview from Inked in 2010. He gave me twice the time I needed and offered sincere answers. Yet while I understood him during the interview, I slowed my recorder to half speed to transcribe it. 😅 Only Ozzy could get away with that pull quote then.

@twintribes.bsky.social are the Goth band of the moment, and for "Side Jams" we spoke about their love for wrestling and lucha libre, and the connection to their genre and vampires.

I love a good Christmas chiller.
I guess this is where aspiring horror authors say, "I'll have what he's having."
