The "turf" thing and the otter familiar are both obvious and subtle at the same time. The giveaway is her name, of course, and then I do the "mental gymnastics" to arrive at "duh, it's obvious"! But I have to think about it. Great and funny pay-off!!! 🤘🐼🤘

Great idea! And perhaps the cladding for the house and garage could be made out of gingerbread?! 😁

Lol! I think the savings would be minute. And there is the ROI for the rock-inserting machines to be considered as well. 😂

My guess would be that during harvesting a small rock could be picked up/blown in with the lentils and then "survives" the presumable cleaning and packing process?

It was small. 1/4 the size of a lentil & just big enough to notice. It was quite heavy for its size and very hard, not chalky or brittle. I noticed it, because I was using a metal mixing bowl to rinse the lentils.
Had I not noticed I would
a) have swallowed it unnoticed
b) won a trip to the dentist.

I found a tiny stone one time, but nothing since then. At this point my rock collection is never going to get any larger. :/

"Riddles and Ragnarök" is built on Norse mythology, urban fantasy, and a bit of humour. What would happen if Ragnarök happened today? Could the old gods keep us safe? How might the end of the world play out?!

And I do agree with the reviewer that some background with Nordic mythology is helpful. BUT... Even if you don't know all of the names, everybody's function/role is explained. So check it out!
