Last thing, then I won’t bother you more: I love to death JJK anime adaptation, the work of the animators is insane and THAT really inspired some of my recent work. Especially seasons 2 and 3.

Also: I was born in ‘87, I’ve been reading manga and watching anime for the last, what, 30 years? Trust me, my inspiration goes much deeper than that. It’s reflected in every single thing I’ve did till today. But now people see a color and can only say “NARUTO!”.

In my mind, Wildcard has always been a sort of punk, and I wanted to give him a modern take on that trope. I had another color in my mind for his hair but he was resembling another DC character too much, so I switched to pink which is a color I love.

I’ve surfed the meme till now, but no.
I’ll take a chance to give a serious answer: my manga inspiration is more about my art style and my storytelling.
Pink, orange, blue are just color schemes.
My inspiration for Wildcard comes from a real, existing famous member of a punk band.
