February has not been a great month gym wise, but activity levels overall are good, and weight is starting to come off so it’s still progress 💪🏻

I like this split location format for the Olympics opening ceremony! It’s nice that athletes not playing in the host city still get to participate, and it probably eases the impact on transit and lodging for all attendees

Got all my workouts in and used my walking pad nearly every day though annnd kept calories in check so the summer shred is still on 😈

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

We have to get rid of Jeffries and Schumer. We have to. It’s unendurable that these men are the most prominent Democrats of the moment. They are two of the most broadly undistinguished men I could imagine in politics, zero fire, zero fight, zero zeal, machine politicians with sinecures.

I love the passive fantasies that bubble up when the lottery gets really high. I bought a few tickets this week and it feels totally worth the 10$ I spent.

I could probably journal/skeet 20 more posts on this weekend but that’s what therapy is for.

So I understand a bit of the frustration. But it really got to her. They have a very open concept living room/kitchen/dining room so I think any of it being messy sets her off. I admire the thought my mom puts into hosting but I wish she didn’t get so stressed out by it.

My mom crashed out a bit over the amount of people and a some messes made.
At family holidays I try to specifically help without asking and work a few steps ahead to make everything easier. I think there was some poor timing with dish washer cycles and definitely too many cooks in the kitchen.

We don’t generally gather together like this so I noticed there’s not much precedent for how we spend the non meal time together. I’d like to plan ahead next time and get some dominos or poker going I think lol

We just did early thanksgiving and it was the biggest gathering of my extended family since my grandmas memorial. Some last minute additions really filled out the ranks.

It’s so weird and funny how every family structure is just kinda tolerable chaos and mess.

Uhg going to the gym with no time crunch is so nice. Especially in cold weather. Having a job is silly.
