Hey FYI you should prob delete and repost (or edit in pds.ls), looks like this accidentally has the edit link shared
(strangely it does have the correct published link inline just *also* the edit link attached, maybe not shared via regular publish flow b/c of bluesky being down?)

ahhh okay I get it know that's a good one wow we can just keep expanding this blogging lingo forever huh 😅
I'm not real plz explain lmao
and all of us getting blogmogged by our own users bc we're too busy platform featuresmaxxing 😔
"blogmogging"…………is this anything
Nah sounds cool & useful!
we need the experimental schools, the wacky places, the schools that don't care about grades or majors, the places that allow/empower students to create their own weird paths, to be weirdos. & yes, we need such education to occur outside/beyond the existing university structures.
Oh yeah that sounds pretty different but could feed in nicely somehow!
Ha inspired by the thing you're working on + various other cool standard site experiments I've seen folks playing with & thinking it'd be cool to coalesce that energy somehow!!
Sounds like we may need to start with a *JAM* jam to sort out the ideal jam composition & sequencing!
Damn this is so cool to see
Inspired by the @stream.place VOD JAM, so gooooood, love seeing all the creative entries!!!
I wonder if we could try something similar for @standard.site & longform discovery / reader experience? Big q's to explore collectively; maybe we can add some structure + incentives! What'd be cool here?
Makes sense! I can keep you posted, would be great to chat more & figure out something here, I think lots of exciting activity in open social publishing tools
Thanks! Yeah we're excited to get to those asap. Need good tools not just for publishing but distribution & monetization!
Cool if I attend this session? Not to pitch Leaflet (indeed not quite ready anyway) but to learn more about folks' needs (useful as we build!) Or can chat later if better.
My sister just got married (yay!) — I was gonna send her a nice check but on second thought an even better gift would be to help onboard the happy couple to the atmosphere, no???
ditto & ditto :)
Very cool, thanks for hosting Lex! I'm one of the creators of @leaflet.pub, making a better open alternative publishing platform on atproto
We have some cool features like Bluesky integration + social mentions, and working on newsletters + paid memberships now. Glad to chat more / help if we can!

here in the atmosphere we're not just building you a rhiz-'ouse, we're building you a rhiz-'ome 🥲
Yep we migrated a couple months back (kept older leaflet records so as not to break stuff). Maybe we can make more clear, I know others have done like a wrapper/pointer record but @awarm.space didn't love that
Delete otoh…that's on us, doing some settings refactoring rn & will try to get in soon! 😅
tfw can't even lie bc open source smh
👀 look forward to seeing!
⬇️ all this is still true *and* now you can pay us btw :) 😊
Leaflet Pro gets you publication analytics right now, and more soon (like newsletter mode!) — also helps us keep 99% of all Leaflet's great features free for everyone ✨
I think there's something we can work with here 😂
screenshot of google overview of "grapevine leafroll disease"…yikes…
oh noo 😳 never mind 😬
wow not sure I knew this lore, amazing haha
and hopefully soon re: next meetup, gonna work on getting something planned! prob a weekday evening… any days best?
yeah that does sound suspiciously like how a frog would carry a fat wad of cash
I love that all these tools have distinctive shapes & vibes…and they're all really good!
so cool to see when ppl are like "I can't pick one, f it, I'm just gonna make multiple blogs instead" lol
Cool slice of blogging history, great to see Leaflet mentioned as part of this new open social ecosystem echoing some of the blogosphere's early days (indeed the atmosphere's still early too!) thanks @ricmac.org
I also like this idea for a sidebar / *leafroll* :)
I feel this yeah…honestly there's a lot Substack does really well, so we've got our work cut out for us making something even better & getting folks to use it. I do think it can be done and the open social future is bright!
