Our paper on the recent decline in unintended births (UIB) is finally out in JHR! We find that UIBs fell 22% between 2007 & 2019, driven by less sex and more IUD use among those likely to have a UIB. W/ @luciegschmidt.bsky.social @mguldi.bsky.social

Hi friends who study fertility! Excited to share that I'm part of a team that received NSF funding to create a US Human Fertility Database.
We'll be generating state-specific (since 1959) and county-specific (since 1982) period and cohort fertility indicators that will be easy to access.
Be a mentor at SEA this November! Mentoring is IMO the most rewarding service (way better than refree reports). docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

Some systems show this information, but I’m assuming some don’t since I’ve been in your shoes. If you don’t have time, politely decline. (And suggest another reviewer if you think of one.)
