I'm an atheist myself, and I'm not trying to absolve anything here. I just read some of the bible books (including Matthew) and tried to extract the offered morals (to understand Christianity). And just I humbly cannot see how one can believe to those stories/morals and yet be a nationalist.

I'm not a fan of the idea that a book is the best source of information on any topic.
To me nationalism is anti-christian at it's core. You don't divide people in nations in Christianity -- the opposite is true: you unite everybody under the same god, under the same love, under the same moral. Christianity is explicitly anti-nationalism to my mind. "make disciples of all nations"
IMO:
The term itself "Christian Nationalism" is oxymoron. If a person thinks they are a Christian Nationalist, then they do doublethink (thus they are brainwashed).
"a leftist streamer" is Hasan Piker? If so, then good. I think, when tankies will stop shitting on DNC during election campaigns, DNC will stop shitting on them.
Do you have the source?
I'd replace Hasan with Mearsheimer
The Ford's defectiveness as a human being have nothing to do what Nazis modeled themselves after.
> we gave high ranking Nazis cushy lives here.
You mean "operation paperclip"? Yeah, but it was AFTER defeating Nazis and securing Europe from them.
> The Nazis modeled their state [...] after the US[...]
FFS, no, WTH are you talking about? Hitler did not need the US to rally around german resentment to the results of WW1. He didn't like Jews due to reasons absolutely unrelated to the US. And the extermination camps was their creation.
> both houses of Congress are equally guilty……
I see victim-blaming here.
IDK, fighting against nazis during WW2 was definitely a good thing.
They tried few times :)
Two? Wasn't it only one year, yet?
One of the (supposedly) intellectuals for MAGA -- Jordan Peterson.
Also there was no border treaty, and a whole bunch of other differences.
Not to justify Israel though. But yet, comparing actions of Israel with actions of Russia is pretty unhinged, IMO.
Either those "agents" can replace people, and I can use them for my personal projects. Or they can't, and my employer will need me. In either case I'm good. I don't understand people are complaining about.
Judas regretted his actions almost immediately, IIRC. Trumpists still adore Trump.
Just in case, if you will say "that is correct" to all of this, I'll go fact-check, because it is hard to believe that (given tankies usually are not that rational).
I'm not familiar with Piker much, but just to make sure:
Are you saying that he does not shift blame of Russian's invasion to the US, does not deprive Ukrainians of agency to decide theirown life and he does not claim that Russia has right to annex Crimea/Donbas or whatnot?
This is a pretty extraordinary claim. What are the proofs of that?
Official congressional e-newsletters mentioning "Israel" over time, by party
Haven't oil prices skyrocketed recently?
"... DemS are murdering healthcare CEOs in the streets of New York" - those people call Biden "genocide Joe" and say "Biden is as bad as Trump" and don't vote Democrat
Before you jump to other claims, first acknowledge you were completely wrong on previous claims. Otherwise, useless speaking to you
BTW, started playing the video you shared. And the first 5 seconds say about deficit. So, I'll just leave it here. So that people can see fiscal responsibility of Republican and Democrat presidents. And this is despite Democrats always inherited a disaster after a Republican (e.g. 2008)
Did Biden launched missiles to Russia/Ukraine to start an unnecessary war that caused gas prices to spike? Or that gas price spike was caused by a war started by Putin?
"ACA [...] increased healthcare cost on everyone" -- just false; ACA reduced net premiums and expanded coverage for many others.
The rule of law was much more respected. E.g. Habeas Corpus was respected, so that if you are a normal working person, you cannot be unlawfully imprisoned.
Or maybe healthcare was much more affordable due to ACA.
Or maybe there were no unnecessary wars spiking gas prices, etc.
A looooot of stuff.
> by finding candidates that don't suck ass
IMO, you'll be easily convinced to hate any candidate :)
OpenCode OOMed for me all the time on long sessions :(
