Something I feel like Nvidia and game execs seem to forget is that games are more than pretty screenshots? They don't look super duper realistic because they need to... move? And be interacted with??
Rayracing and DLSS are a smeary mess when you're actually trying to play the game!

Most of the examples shown just make me think "This could be a change in the Roughness/Normal/AO maps, a tweak to the shaders, and you might get the a similar result without killing your GPU"
Not to mention they look like those gross gooner-bait ads...

DLLS 5 looks gross as hell, I mean fuck all of the artist who; Set the art direction, made the textures/materials, set up the lighting, and made the shaders.

Nvidia is doing everything but making new GPUs that empower creatives and not just generating fake frames and now PAINTING OVER THEIR WORK!
