Regardless, feeling out of step is deeply melancholic and the limited catharsis I can pull from that melancholia is that if the people in the me-world are both fully conscious entities independent of the me-world they’re currently AND somehow living in it, with ease or struggle…

…and I wouldn’t get online and post about if I didn’t think someone out there would understand what I’m talking about…

When I see the people in my me-world, in my life at large and in my presence in the moment, living a harmony that they can’t hear, I can’t help but envy them the present-presence they access.

It’s all in my head, obviously; everyone feels like an outsider looking in, sometimes…

Every now and again (and even more so, as of late), I feel like I’m out of step with the world I inhabit.

Not the whole world; I feel the zeitgeist like a wind at my back. No, I mean a narrower me-world; one bounded by the limits of my own perception and my capacity for distinction.

I agree. He’s a disgrace to the Presidency and a danger to the US, the world, & democracy.

I just concerned by posts of him out of context because of the risk of misinformation spreading.

IMHO the strongest arguments & strongest opposition comes from challenging him & his policies on the merits.

Definitely! Pres. Trump has been a disaster for the US & for the entire world. He’s dangerous & his ideology is hateful.

I don’t always agree w/ Ryan; we had radically different experiences working in Government, but he is a knowledgeable expert, well sourced, & I suggest you give him a follow.
