100% agree. Even aside from AI assets, they outsourced a lot of animation and VFX, from what I've seen and heard. Their budget was also unheard of for pretty much any other indie game up against it. It's Sandfall in name, but Kepler (and NetEase) were the invisible hand over it. AA game, at least

It begins: Add a new lower tier sub option with ads Since the price of standard Twitch subs has increased, I think adding a lower tier ad-supported sub to give folks a cheaper option to support creators would be extremely helpful. Similar to how many TV and movie streaming services are adding ad-supported subscription tiers, I think Twitch could do this with subs to creators. Instead of the standard $5.99 USD, this ad-supported sub-tier could be $2.99 USD, but because it's ad supported the revenue split could be more in favor of the creator. In terms of features these subs could: - Give users access to a limited subset of subscriber emotes. A user could pick 5 subscriber emotes to unlock when they sub this way, with the option to change which 5 emotes each month when the sub renews. - Not remove any ads. These subs would be listed as a new "below tier 1" level, so they would not remove any ads. - Provide a 66-33 split for all creators no matter their affiliate or partner status. This would give the creator $2 per sub and Twitch $1 per sub. Since twitch makes more revenue off ads than creators, this is a fair way to share revenue for an ad supported tier, and it still provides the creator with less money than a standard tier 1 sub, that way it does not disincentivize tier 1 subscriptions in any way.
