The Eugenics Legacy Education Project team have been developing an art response to anti-eugenics work in UCL, and my early eugenics reckoning has been featured in a visual piece by artist Clover. I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be involved!

Thank you for your question! The outcome will be a freely available online course which attempts to sensitively deconstruct the legacy of eugenics and work out the next steps for reckoning with it in our present time. Students will lead this and we promote participation from marginalised groups.

I’m facilitating this project in Term 2 of this academic year, which will be led by students in the department of Statistical Science at UCL. I’m looking forward to it! Students will direct the narrative, so we can all deal with the history.

This academic year, students in our department will design an “Online Open Access Course” about eugenics, from the perspective of Statistical Science and with reference to it. More info 👇:
