A dragon perches at the top of a pyramid shaped building in this digital painting of a modern city at night. The colors are gray and gold. The dragon is black lit with warm light. People gather on a rooftop to watch it

Gonna spend the next two years spamming every elected Dem about the concept of "damnatio memoriae." Chisel his name off every inscription. Build over the various Trump Towers like they're Nero's Golden House. Remove him from physical memory, not to forget but as a sign of disrespect to the man.

I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.

I know bsky is crashing, but I need your help to crash something else.
Please come to the Basis VR 1k load test this weekend!
Things will get dicey around 3-400k, and it's certainly noisy as heck, but even if you log in and put down your headset, that will help.

Screen grab of an email:
At an upcoming performance of Carmen on Saturday, May 16, Seattle Opera will be hosting a Furry Night with a special pre-show meet-and-greet with bass-baritone Christian Pursell, who plays Escamillo in the opera. Pursell will appear as his fursona, Chester the Geroo, and will be available for photos before the show.
Although Pursell will not be in his fursuit onstage, we are encouraging audience members to attend the opera in their own costumes and fursuits, if they would like.
This amazing (real!) thing that is happening next month would make an absolutely incredible episode of Frasier

Ozy: dad, what would you say is the greatest thing you’ve ever experienced?
Llewellyn: oh, that’s easy. There was this waffle I had once in Belgium. It defies description.
Ozy: aren’t you bound by parent law to say “raising you, my dear boy?”
Llewellyn: “oh, but you didn’t TASTE this waffle.”

A collage of a purple dragon fursuit head and tail.
Good morning, and happy #FursuitFriday!
We've just finished up our first big project of 2026; Felix the Moonfang!
This guy features a wefted mane on both the head and tail, with nearly 3000 hand placed wefts between the two!
We're so thrilled with how he turned out 🥰

"The right’s characterization of higher education is a fiction. Students across the ideological spectrum feel free to express themselves, think their education is worth the cost and don’t think their views are silenced." Only 3% of Republican students feel out of place on campus for their views.

Colony Planet Simulator. Really get into the world building (ha ha) of what goes into establishing a Federation colony on a planet out in the black, with a particular emphasis on logistics in a universe that has allegedly solved scarcity.

There’s some fixes ranging from simple tunneling (you can toggle it in VRChat) to small electrical shocks on the wrist to secondary cognitive tasks reducing cybersickness. It almost always has 2-3 paper sessions at a conference just on that topic.

We are working on that. We’ve been working on it, yes, but it’s a hard problem 😭
But there are some neat fixes.
Either way, AR is more “useful” but VR is definitely more sociable
