I brought N home a tiny Mardi Gras mask from my work trip to NOLA last week. It was an awards dinner table decoration. She re-purposed it on one of our oldest Alebrijie collections and I can't stop laughing!

CHIPS not CHICKS! LOL!!!
Had to swap out the wheat straw mulch for coco husk chicks since the ground squirrels were digging in it. Reconstituting the brick in water was fun. Very snap, crackle and pop!
We wanted some garden color so planted snapdragons and lomelia in my window boxes. Started blending my own soil since I’ve bits of this and that leftover.
Hit up Neel’s nursery and got a Chuparosa, a Matilija (“Fried egg”) poppy and a Solanum “Mountain Pride” plant. All CA native plants. Also transplanted the wee baby Baja Fairy Duster N brought home. Transplanted the rooted cuttings from our Queen of the Night epiphyllum. Hoping these thrive!!!
Friday afternoon jam. Reached a point when the Iranian government is telling more truth than our own. So had to circle back to this gem.
The team had our last breakfast together at the Ruby Slipper off the French quarter. Their specialty are wild interpretations of eggs Benedict. This one was buttermilk biscuits topped with fried chicken, poached eggs, a pork hollandaise with spinach. It was absolutely AMAZING. Also, Rodrigue art
Back home, but please witness this miracle
Company meeting in NOLA. Second time here. Really love this city!
Oh brother SAME. I’m so tired of second guessing myself. An only look at the past for decisions. Biggest worry is two shitbag republicans get the ticket
Well. That makes my voting decision easier in June. Was considering Swalwell. No more. Porter doesn’t have the attitude of the fighter we need. Between Becerra and Steyer now. Yeah Steyer is a billionaire but he’s a LONG track record of supporting progressive issues.
Where I am now.
My earliest childhood memory was Apollo 11. Barely. I remember Apollo 13 and remember the tension even as a kid. I was a space nerd even in single digit age. I remember crying over Challenger in college. I remember crying again for Columbia. I’m crying for happiness for Artemis 2. Needed this BAD.
Neels is awesome! Hoping to finally find a Chuparosa plant !

What resort are they staying at? 😆
The shading on this is gorgeous!
Hahaha!!! Relatable! OMAN?
DGAF what that POS has to say. He needs to be cancelled like last week’s tuna casserole
Really appreciate your response and ask about this! Glad you understand why MANY people are upset about GenAI too. Lots of good advice already posted. It always has this artificial lighting feel about it. In doubt, those free online detectors usually catch the sneaky ones
Here's an alternative/additional action to calling reps to save our Forest Service - tell the brands who built their empires on public forest lands to speak out! They're bigger and have more power to push for this to stop. Flood their socials and direct emails. Remember, money talks

Gen X collectively reliving Challenger, Columbia and Cold War nuclear holocaust anxiety all in the same week is a fucking lot, y'all.

It's Easter. What do we enjoy? One of the finest animated movies ever made "The Prince of Egypt" and.. one of the finest musicals ever made. Songs from Jesus Christ Superstar gets stuck in my head for weeks. Ted Neely's voice is OMG and Caiphus' hat is FOREVER! #Jesuswaswoke
There’s been a California Towhee just sitting on my fence for the last hour. Preening. Listening. Motionless sometimes. Never seen one this chill. Bro? You okay?
Creatures driven by scent!
Been told it’s world rat day. Okee!!!!
The oldest tool I inherited. My grandfather’s ballpeen hammer. 1930s or so. It was a hideous rust artifact forever. Since I had the equipment out today, used naval jelly to dissolve rust and some careful power tool wire wheel. I didn’t expect shine but I’m LOVING its new texture! For you Otto! ❤️
Starting repair on our metal fence gate. Tackled rust spots with a spatula, Dremel and drill wire wheel. Corrosion holes larger than expected. Looking like I’ll need to put a patch on this sucka! Cleaned and primed up with Rust Reformer. Tomorrow: metal repair Bondo. Another prime then enamel paint
