Yeah with the mountains, ski hill, lake it's very similar to Sandpoint.

Nelson, British Columbia (small city on Kootenay Lake in the mountains halfway between Calgary and Vancouver). Fantastic scenery, great restaurants, amazing art scene, and I can take wildlife photos anywhere, including from my living room.
