I would argue that he is comprised on nothing but a sense of self and that the world naturally spins around him

If anyone in the Twin Cities is going to be at MinneBar on May 2nd, I'm doing a presentation

There are s couple of random Rick Ellis's who aren't me. For years, a Sinatra impersonator was a big one. And the TV exec for New Zealand. Now it's some MMA fighter
I have always joked that if aliens invaded the Earth, CNBC anchors would be on the air saying "Sure, the human death camps aren't ideal. But the contraction in the workforce is likely to bring an increase in productivity and provide a tail wind for revenue growth"
On an unrelated note, I need to see how to get an entry about myself in Wikipedia
I have always thought the idea of Carlson being a viable presidential candidate in 2028 is nuts. Yet, I can see a scenario in which Iran goes badly, and Carlson uses that as a lever to attract unhappy Republicans who are generally MAGA, but also anti-war
I can't wait to see Stephen Miller show up on Dancing With The Stars in a few years
people think the talmud is like the protocols of the elders of zion but it's 9,000 pages of "if a donkey kicks a lamp and sets a hay bale on fire, who pays for the hay" in every possible combination of owners of the donkey, lamp, and hay bale
An edition of The Art of War where every piece of advice is followed by stuff like “for fuck’s sake” and “you gotta think here pal”
I don't miss my home town of Evansville, Indiana all that much.
But there are a lot of great houses there, like this amazing Victorian home for $499K

For those people who don't like Substack, I have created a Beehiiv version of Too Much TV. Although I still have some tweaking to do.

I wish a reporter would followup with "Isn't one of the eight wars you say you ended the last one between Israel and Iran?"

It looks as if it might make it to a local theater near me when it goes wider. I'm definitely looking forward to it

As someone who sometimes has promotion anxiety, I'll never get mad when someone promotes their work.
Fan art of Supergirl and Krypto, a homage to the image of TinTin and Milou running infront of a spotlight
#Supergirl X #TinTin mashup!
He's 20, but we have guardianship because he also is on the spectrum & has anxiety issues. We finally found a therapist he connects with, but she isn't trained on ADHD. So we're still looking. He's doing well in some ways - taking a college class a semester. But he is struggling with personal stuff
I love the titles of anime shows on Crunchyroll
NBC: "Friends"
Crunchyroll: "I will admit that I am attracted to them. No, the other one"
My problem is getting my son to be willing to work on coping mechanisms. He knows he struggles, but simply refuses to learn more about how to handle things. It's as if doing that makes it more real somehow
I have thoughts about streaming viewing numbers and what matters to Netflix

Tweet: Waiter: so how is everything? me: great! waiter: (disgusted) even war?
I just remembered this tweet, and I didn't post one when everyone was posting funny tweets
And then imagine if the woman was in ABBA. "Chosen: The Waterloo Chronicles"
I am starting to see the outlines of an ABBA cinematic universe
It's ABBA on tour, except one of the women is a serial killer who murders someone at every stop of the tour.
That's the TV show that would be a hit. "Heated Rivalry," but with two guys from ABBA
“I know you’re going through a tough time Minnesotans, but every day you wake up, Eric Clapton and Morrissey are one day closer to death.” —Falco from McLusky, paraphrasing
