And I miss those days - gave a talk on the original CI idea a couple of years back. According to a show of hands no-one in the audience published on a daily basis and no-one integrated on a less-than-four-our cadence - Feedback afterwards: But that was all so basic. 😢

Right now I think trunk based development comes closest to the way I perceived (and we used) the CI ideas from XP back in '99/'01
