#NATO has only once invoked Article 5, that was in support of the USA after the events of Sept. 11th, 2001.

An article posted by bsky.app/profile/anne... accused me of slighting an individual who has, over the years, made many disingenuous claims under guise of pseudonyms & recently undertaken a ‘speaking’ tour where attendees were charged AU$50. As the OP has blocked this account, I’m quoting here.
I have no intention to make any apology. Many contributors engage positively, Turner has never been one of those: Bannon-esque ‘flooding the zone’ with unsubstantiated opinions helps nothing.
The referenced article accuses me of some slight against Peter Turner. I wish to reply: Turner has, for many years, sought to pollute serious conversations concerning the loss of MH370. Most recently, I learned he had embarked on a speaking tour, charging attendees AU$50, I find that odious ⬇️
Ocean Infinity has posted an update on its search for the wreck of 9M-MRO, #MH370.
‘Although this phase of the search has concluded, our commitment has not. We’re continuing to work with [MY-Gov] in the hope of being able to return when circumstances allow.’

While the image accompanying the story about ‘box carriers’ depicts a tanker.
So, same reason holds for ROVs: -05 & -06 are not immediately ready to operate deep water ROVs. The Seaonics LARS are configured (docking heads, possibly winch/umbilical spec) for large geotech machines.
JL-M, ‘Mr Caption’, isn’t a reliable source. He’s simply guessing.
As Ben says, A86-06 would be the more likely candidate to take up the search. However, to pick up as A86-05 left off requires 3x AUV & tech crew availability in Vung Tau.
Note also, in its Vard handover state A86-06 is -05’s twin.
OI is conducting the search under the terms of the agreement with Malaysia (Ministry of Transport?).
While it appears that the detail of the reports will originate with OI, MoT/AAIB-MY appear to be responsible for final content & release.
Yep, initially the AIS static voyage data showed PagoPago ETA 43 days but now reduced to 21 days.
Assuming direct Fremantle to PaguPagu is a change of plan, we know of no clear reason why.
It is, I’ve been enjoying it.
My son got a seat on last minute ticket release for one of the Luck & Strange shows at Royal Albert Hall, London. He really enjoyed it.
There’s been a live recording released of the tour, or it’s imminent, right?
Regret not trying for the Rome show tickets, was a tad deflated after barely even getting in the queue for the London shows.
Solace is my memory of attending the 2006 Mermaid Theatre ‘On An Island’ show 🎸🎸 (the back of my head was captured in the video 😂)
It’s a ‘truck’, it’s actually called a truck. Did Toyota not fit the thing with door mount rear view mirrors that real truck drivers use to reverse their vehicles?
What could possibly be better?
/s LOL.

Buggles (Trevor Horn) was never a one hit wonder 😉

Reuters curiously avoiding the term, ‘bogie’. Is this not universal word in (english) vocabulary concerned with railways and rolling stock?
Ageed Ben, weather has been extremely variable. Swells rolling in from storm systems elsewhere in the Indian Ocean.
With hindsight, afforded by the many incidents involving B737s & their particular variant ( -3
& -7B) of the CFM56 engine, I am concerned that insufficient attention was paid to the design of that engine and its evident reliability deficiencies.

I was acquainted with Nick Stevenson & his business partner Chris Thompson as a customer at Surf Mountain.
On the Monday following the Kegworth crash I flew from Gatwick to Vancouver, a clear morning, & as my aircraft routed north I could clearly see the accident sites at Kegworth & Lockerbie.
⬇️
Have just watched the BBC ‘Kegworth: Flight to Disaster’ documentary.
While I have a family connection to someone who did not survive the accident until now I had no idea that former colleague Declan Brady was a survivor of the accident.

Any updates are being distributed via the ‘MH370 Families’ page on Facebook, I checked earlier & nothing new since Monday’s update. Not at all consistent. The vessel’s progress with the AUVs looks good. Considering the planned arrival at Fremantle/Henderson the passage will begin midweek.
Even take in a gig at Patronaat, Hans Dulfer in February (Candy’s father)

#Haarlem is a great place to base oneself during a trip to central Netherlands. It’s a few minutes train ride from Amsterdam Central rail station, the coast is nearby (one big beach stretching to the horizon), & if you’re travelling by air there’s a frequent bus service from Schiphol.

Just need to remind readers that Armada 86 05 has no (that is, zero) ROVs mobilised onboard.
