End all funding every single private employment services provider.

Salt the earth so those in change of them never get any public money ever again - run them out of the country.

Get rid of mutual obligations

Bring back the CES

Raise the fricken rate

Ain’t hard.

YouTube agrees to pay Trump $24.5m to settle lawsuit over account suspension Platform suspended the US president’s YouTube channel in 2021 after the January 6 Capitol riot

The corruption going on in plain sight is nothing short of astounding. This looks like a pay off for not using all the power of the US presidency to not destroy a business.

I’m not NDIS but can assure you the whole Disability sector needs a shake up. The NDIS has created a nightmare + costs have increased exponentially since its inception. Companies don’t want to take non NDIS clients because….not enough profit so you go without support. This includes cost of aids etc.

I do hope that the middle class employment & enrichment program known as the NDIS is somehow also able to support & house people with disabilities. Jeez this shit makes me cross. #4corners

I’m so distressed by what #4Corners is showing us tonight. What a waste of so much. 😥

I agree it's brilliant. It just shows what can be achieved if people are given a chance.

These women built their first homes for under $120k. Here’s how they did it A Facebook post offering women $55,000 to build their first home looked like a scam. But 15 women took the chance to go from homeless to home owner.

This is brilliant. Philanthropists really helping people end their homelessness.

Gaslit, dismissed and treated as hypochondriacs: The gender divide in iron deficiency Ignored by doctors for years, Abigail almost died, with one doctor in the end saying she had the blood count of a shark attack or car crash victim.

I know so many women of all ages who need iron transfusions and some who can’t get them because they cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars; such long waitlists; no Medicare rebates. This is a medical scandal. The misdiagnosis story is shocking. www.smh.com.au/national/gas...

I've had enough.

In this thread, I will tell you, definitively, whether Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.

This way, you will be more informed when shopping for your wardrobe . 🧵

Tom Lehrer - National Brotherhood Week - with intro
Tom Lehrer - National Brotherhood Week - with intro YouTube video by The Tom Lehrer Wisdom Channel

There isn't a single song by Tom Lehrer that isn't still as biting and funny today as when he wrote it. Most people are setting on "Werner von Braun" as a memorial, but perhaps "National Brotherhood Week" is also weirdly relevant as well

Vale, sir

Taking Aktion: Trump’s Plan to Disappear the “Work-Shy” We are staring into the abyss of systematic mass cleansing that mankind might not recover from without intervention

In 1938, Hitler launched “Work-Shy Reich” a program to remove the homeless, beggars & mentally ill from the streets & forcibly institutionalize them.

Today, Donald Trump launched “ENDING CRIME AND DISORDER ON AMERICA’S STREETS”—which is the same thing. 🚨

It so is. It’s hard to believe we’re watching it live and not just reading about it in history books

Yep, that’s how it starts. Begin by rounding up the folk that the majority already doesn’t like. It helps build the systems you will need when you start rounding up your political enemies

New executive order by Trump that redefines #homelessness as a mental illness and requiring authorities to round everyone up for *treatment* and to keep other citizens safe. I always suspected the pathologising of people in poverty would end up here.

Watching Prof Henry Brodaty talking about dementia on @NPC right now. It is 💯 true that after a diagnosis both the patient & carers are dropped like hot potatoes with no plan no support & no medicine that actually works. Happy that there is break through for people in the very early stages.

Same issues here in Canada and same myopic vision for the past 30 years. Allowing housing to be an investment tool was a monumental mistake that currently disproportionately affects the marginalised and is now affecting younger generations. We’ve stolen enough from future generations. Time to pay!!!

Have you ever wondered why charities grow bigger every year? At the very same time that State housing departments get smaller? And do you wonder why those without housing are now ‘charitable cases’ to be managed instead of citizens to be housed? I do
