The UK supreme court has gutted the legal recognition of trans people. They also recognized the concept of sex based rights which is just absurd. There's no such thing as sex based rights. There is the right to be free from discrimination on the basis of sex.

Figured out what got under my skin about Hipkins going off about how Tamaki "is just a boy". I get that he's directly slagging his toxic masculinity, but it's also tying into that whole thing of dismissing really dangerous behaviour as immaturity rather than assault, violence, and abuse.
