One of my favorite takeaways is the “puppy dog smile” as an example of immersion. The moment you see a puppy in public, you smile and want to pet the puppy. Everything else melts away for a few seconds. That is immersion.

Attended Imagineer Ron Martin’s inspiring keynote on technology, creativity, and storytelling this morning. I can’t remember another keynote that made me want to leave a conference to immediately go make things.

A large portion of National Park workers are seasonal employees. They work during peak season, which conveniently coincides with college summer breaks. The parks depend on them.

Clearly those positions need to be reclassified as needed for public safety. How are we going to manage a park safely without these employees?

I’ve had a lot of (good) changes in real life so I stepped back from social media a bit to adjust. 😌
