I think someone's inner 14 y/o boy had fun writing this. "Shockwave" could work too. #Respect.

The lizards running the WSJ should not have given this guy space.

Yeah. They don't sit that close, Americans wearing same clothes, most (all?) Iranian men don't wear ties etc

Quick look up and he's been spewing that crap and running for office since at least 2018.

I do my best thinking about options while listening to Philip Glass. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, and AFAIK soldiers don't go on patrol alone, esp. in a conflict zone, so how many others failed to stop him from doing this?

If I haven't mentioned this before, here's why I shudder whenever I hear or see anything amaranth-related.

Does this story include trashing a photocopier and hooking up with Jennifer Aniston?

Same nuts from "sound of freedom" made it. Maybe they'll buy up tickets again so it appears popular.

I would like to know how the dollar stores know they have more six figure+ households coming to their stores.

Straits and Straits The Hormuz crisis has ancient precedents. They are not reassuring.

Dusted off the PhD for a Sunday essay. Ancient Athens depended on the Hellespont for grain the way the world now depends on Hormuz for oil. Athens never found an alternative. Nor, yet, have we.

(Shoutout to @brokenbanker.bsky.social who is presently in Athens.)

Some day I might. I think you can find it in parts of Colombia. In Gringolandia, though, I suspect it's imported and may have been frozen for a LONG time.

Anyone at your table brave enough for cuy?

Hear my out: We need to be more like the French and lose our aversion to horse meat. But horses are too big so we'll use miniature ponies. They're short enough to not rub up against the lower edge of the panels when they want to scratch their backs and don't need much grain. Brilliant, right? ๐Ÿ˜€

That's a bat signal for @discontinuedfoods.bsky.social but I don't know if they work weekends.

Right. Out of sight, out of mind, risks losing power, and there is some faction that doesn't like the idea of a nepo-baby.

True. If people are going to eat sheep, then sheep-grass-panels are a good combination.

And AFAIK pasture raised pigs, broilers and layers are still eating a LOT of regular old corn and soybean meal. Quality of life certainly seems better, but they don't survive on grass.

It's day 51; have you read or heard anything about Khamenei Junior recently? I remember a written statement or two ascribed to him but AFAIK no audio or visual.

From afar, seems it's either some kind of strategy or he's really messed up.

Problem is they are ruminants and belch methane like cattle. Pigs would probably root around the poles unless you put rings in their noses, so the answer is chickens, turkeys and rabbits and a few Elmer Fudds to keep predators away.

I don't know how much Mrs Steve Jobs put into The Atlantic but I imagine they can afford more and better attorneys than Patel.

You should ask them out. Tell 'em you made your money in honey and rocks and now you live in one of the pencil towers in the background.

Generally, yes, but extreme volatility driven by official idiots yapping on social media or at W.H. press conferences is different (worse) than weather affecting ag or energy markets, IMO. I'd rather have somewhat volatile chop than 100%+ IV.

Crude oil volatility: steady decline in implied volatility for the last eight days. With lunatics and liars in charge of the three parties to this war, I'd be surprised if it continues when the markets open Sunday at 5p CT.

They must have some coffee people on staff. About two yrs ago their 8-cup (40 oz) drip maker received Specialty Coffee Assn seal of approval and numerous positive reviews on Wirecutter and elsewhere. At the time it was about $100. Now it's $200+. IDK how much of that is cashing in v. import tariffs.

This whole section -- I think he's speaking just to be made fun of on social media now.
