Watching my 1st French musical film. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, and like...they don't sing songs. They just sing. Like every line of dialog is sung instead of spoken. It's really weird. Is this how all French musicals are, or just this one? I'm unmoored. This is not at all what I expected going in.
